Great Anniversary Dinner- will be back again. My husband and I went here for my first time, his second, for our anniversary. We got there early, about 5:30, and it was pretty empty. We got the tempenyaki (no idea how to spell it). They subbed tofu for meat with no problems at all (vegetarian). The food was excellent, our cook put on a good show, reasonable prices. I guess my only complaint is that the miso soup has crab in it. I have never been anywhere where there was some sort of meat or fish in the miso. Kind of a bummer as I love miso soup but could not eat it because of the crab. Everything else was wonderful. Looking forward to going back again!
Really one of the best places for sushi.
I've been eating at Fuji's for a long time. Their food is always TOP quality, great sashimi, rolls, and family flat grill shows. Try the tenderloin, it's awesome. But I go there for the sushi. Wonderful sauces, interesting sushi rolls. Never been let down. Also, and this is important to any restaurant, the wait staff is always right on target. Helpful, but not bothersome. Try the crunchy tuna roll, or the sunnyside roll.
The only thing that bugs me sometimes is that they close between 3pm and 5pm M-Th and don't open until 2pm on Saturdays. They miss the entire lunch crowd from 11am till 2pm. And don't tell me it's to early to eat sushi, I could eat sushi for breakfast.
They have a long conveyor belt with seating for about 20 people plus 4 or 5 booths next to the conveyor belt. Best fast food anywhere :) Plus 5 flat grills that seat about 12 people ea.
One other thing missing is the banter from the sushi chefs. They will talk to you but they are usually pretty busy working. Okay I guess.... keep up the great work :)
Birthday Dinner. We went for my 27th birthday. Had great fun, and the food was really good! First time going there, but won't be my last.
The Best Shushi place I have ever beem to.. Fujis is a great sushi place I have ever been to. The only thing is, is its so crowded. Thats about the only con I have to say about this place. The sushi there was very delicious. I don't know what people are talking about when they say it was horrible or, something was raw, usually sushi is raw. Besides that I really love it and i'm a kid. You don't get a kid to like sushi that often. Well The sushi was fantastic, and it always makes me feel like i'm not too full and i'm not to hungry, when I leave. I feel just right. I give fuji's a thumbs up!! Check out there dish the yum yummy its very good!!!
Poor customer service.
Went to Fuji's for a friend's 50th birthday. Food was okay & service was good, but my friend forgot her birthday gifts in a clear plastic bag under her seat when we left. We were the last group out of the restaurant side that night, so we didn't worry about it too much as we figured she could call them first thing the next day & come by to pick it up.
She called the next morning to see if they set the package - which included $50 worth of lottery tickets - aside, but no one claimed to have seen it. She told the manager she was on her way in to speak with them about the situation. When she showed the hostess told her the manager wasn't in (even though she had been on the phone with the manager less than 10 minutes prior).
Seems like the manager was avoiding a situation that needed to be dealt with - theft, unhappy customer, but wasn't willing to do anything to make the situation right.
We were a group of 8 & NONE of us will ever go back to this establishment. All of us are very unhappy about how this was handled and are telling everyone we know about our experience.
There are plenty of quality restaurants to choose from in this area & we are happy to support those that provide better customer service than this....
We love it, but watch the chicken. We have been to Fujis several times now. Some for dinner for the hibachi dinners, some for lunch for sushi. The first time we went, after hearing rave reviews from a friend, we had a pretty bad experience. I ordered a side of teriyaki chicken, and after biting into a large chunk of chicken, it was BLOOODY raw!!!! I was horrified! I immediately notified the staff. At first they acted as if they didnt understand the big deal. When they took the chicken back to the chef, they came back to me with the laamest excuse ever... "Sometimes its hard to tell if its cooked because of the sauce they put on it." I almost laughed in their face. However, they did refund my purchase, and I did not get sick. We decided to give Fujis another try after this, and have nothing but a fantastic time. But Im always cautious now.
Poor service!. Ordered takeout last night and realized once I got home that they forgot my miso soup and also messed up my order. When I called to let them know what happened the girl told me she remembered me and said that she gave me exactly what I requested. I said that's not possible since I know the fried rice I "requested" has eggs and I'm very allergic to eggs! I took the food back and the same girl still acted like I screwed up. I just wanted her to fix THEIR mistake, which they did. It was frustrating to say the least. The food is good, but the girl should have just apologized and fixed it instead of having an attitude and trying to prove a point.
home away from home.
I have eaten there dozens of times. My friends eat there as well as my co-workers. Every time I take someone new they become a regular. Great food... very friendly service and they will go out of the way to help if you want something special.
wonderful.
best sushi and sauce value after 830p and drinks. if you go after 830p you can get $2 well drinks and sushi for 20% off what better value. for 2 people you can eat for less $30. they have the best special sauce and sunnyside roll, staff are great and friendly.
Great everything! So good!. We went to Fuji's on a weeknight for our anniversary. The service was great, the food was great, and the prices were competitive. I can't believe how much food we got for our money! We had the hibachi dinners. Really great miso soup and fantastic calamari. The server was attentive and our chef was a very nice man. I would imagine that the parking can be kind of weird, but we didn't have any trouble as it was a Wednesday night. We will definitely be going back for their great happy hour deals - 20% off sushi after 8:30pm to close every night and $5 big beers and sake. Overall, a fantastic experience.
