Fast and casual Chinese dining for the value-minded.. In Short
With hundreds of locations nationwide, this is America's largest fast-food chain serving Chinese cuisine. Customers looking for a quick, cheap lunch or dinner line up for traditional wok dishes including kung pao chicken, beef with broccoli and chow mein or the Panda Express original orange-flavored chicken. Meals can be had to go or in the restaurants' cafeteria-style table settings, and even delivered en masse to offices and parties with catering packages.

Great American Chinese Food. If you're mouth craves the sweet taste of Orange Chicken, or perhaps the spicy flavor of Kung Pao Chicken with a main entree of Chow Mein, this is the place to go. Once you become a frequent flyer, definitely ask for the card. Most of the staff are very helpful and pile on extra servings at this particular Panda Express. At all others in the Portland Area the staff cannot match what they do here in Washington Square. Whenever I go, hungry as hounds, the staff are very prompt in serving us the food at Panda. Being a frequent flyer myself, I love the delicious food they have at Panda. If ever you want anything made fresh at Panda in Washington Square never hesitate to ask. The Panda Employees will definitely cook up something fresh for you.

Now, giving it a five rating, I'm rating food. The ambiance is almost certainly not for romantic dinners or anything like that. It is a Fast food chain in a food court for pete's sake. This chain however, is the best restaurant at the Summit in Washington Square. The Beef and broccoli is delicious, and the black pepper chicken the exact right amount of pepper to much the chewy chicken. The Orange chicken is a chicken nugget dipped in a sweet and succulent sauce. The Kung Pao chicken, my personal favorite, contains peppers and zucchini, making it pretty healthy. Panda is a great restaurant for kids and adults alike, of all ages. It is not an expensive restaurant, and you can be in and out in about half an hour. This is definitely the place to go if you're in Washington Square and want a quick, delicious, and wholesome meal!

Worst ever. Even at these cheap prices, your mouth will never forgive you for putting the garbage they serve in it. It has nothing to do with Chinese food nor food itself for that matter. Ugly cafeteria setting with staff who don't even know about the inauthentic swill they dish out. Avoid unless it is the only restaurant open during a natural disaster.
