Memorable only for the upset stomach. A 15 minute wait to get our waters was a highlight in comparison to the flavorless chicken-product, slimy noodles and inexcusable brown rice. My friends and I kept looking at each other with disbelief that any meal could be so bad. I'd like to believe that we caught Wong on a bad day, but looking around at all the other diners' meals I doubt it.

The menu is very limited and if you don't like combination plates, well, too bad. Other than the hot and sour soup, which was OK, every component of our meals was bad. Not bland, bad. The "chicken" slice in the szechuan chicken resembled no chicken I've ever seen or eaten and the sweet and sour chicken was neither sweet, nor sour. If it hadn't been for the mustard dip, I probably wouldn't have eaten a second bite.

Do not confuse this with the Wong's King on Division! That place is great. This is terrible.

Wong's King--Your Crown Has Disappeared!. Well, I have given this restaurant chance after chance, I normally wouldn't, but it's one of the few restaurants in Sellwood and I don't have a car. First of all, I place my orders by phone, and I can recall at least 5 times where they got the order wrong. Other times, I have ordered Egg Foo Young, and it's been undercooked. This place is also very needlessly expensive. For 3 people, I usually spend in excess of $35. Not Chinese food pricing, as far as I'm concerned. The portions are small and usually also cold by the time we get the stuff home. I've eaten lots and lots of Chinese food in my life (Hong Chow that used to be located in Sellwood being the absolute best!, and this is the worst. I've had mediocre meals at Chinese buffets that are much, much better. I've revised this review because I just had another bad meal there the other day, and I have to agree with the reviewer below me...I shall never partake of this food again. I'll spend the extra money and take the bus to Chinese Village on 82nd and Stark!

Greasy, Soggy, Icky. We got some of their food delivered and could not have been more disguted. The food was plentiful, but that's about all it had going for it. The fried shrimp were soggy, everything was overly greasy, and not very flavorful. Waste of time, money, and taste buds.

Worth a try. The restuarant is nothing fancy but the food is the best I have tried for Chinese food in the Portland area. The ingredients are fresh and they use no MSG - which is a plus. The only thing that I was not impressed with was their egg rolls. We get take out now about once a month from there. It is worth the drive.

I order from Delivered Dish. so I've never actually been to this place, though I have eaten their food many times. My SO says the general tso's chicken is the best in town (and you get a freakin' huge amount of it!) and it's only like 7.95. I'm veg, so I order from the plenty big veggie section (and yes there's lots of tofu, it's amazing to me how many chinese places don't have tofu options on the menu!) and the green beans and tofu in black bean sauce is my favorite, though Kung Pao tofu and Hawaiian tofu are also good. We gladly pay the $5 delivery charge from DD to have this food rather than getting chinese food dowtown (where we live). Yummy!
