Great Fix on my Front tooth. Just moved into the Portland area and was recommended by a coworker. Really liked how fast they were able to get me in. I was eating bread that had nuts in it, and broke my front tooth completely to the gum! Turns out I had a root canal there a long time ago, which made it weak. The doctor ended up removing it and putting an implant in it's place. At first, I was nervous putting a screw in my mouth, but it wasn't all that bad. No stress dentistry. I recently got my three teeth pulled because of pain and well they were pretty rotted. Although I have neglected my mouth for a while, no one at Nortec Dental made me feel bad and scolded me. Now, I have a new upper plate so I can chew and eat again! No one including myself don't like going to the dentist but it wasn't all that bad. Dr Tsen took out the teeth really fast. I was done before 5 minutes was up! Very gental with the novacane. Gentle dentist. Speaking from a dental phobe like me, I have the highest opinion of Dr. Tsen. Due to the fact that I am terrified, I mean petrified of needles I always have to warn the dentist as well as dental technicians of my fears well ahead of time. Dr. Tsen more than understood my fears and NEEDS and numbed my mouth with surprisingly very little pain. The laughing gas helped smooth things over too. Great High-tech Dentist. We are very happy to find Dr. Tsen again through the internet search. After he left Gentle Dental several years ago, we have not felt comfortable seeing other dentists. What a vast improvement with his new office on Cornell Rd with all the high tech equipment ! But it is his skill as a dentist, ie. his pain-less injections, and feather-like touch, as well as his sincerity that have kept our family loyal to him for so many years. My daughter loves going for her checkups and cleanings while watching Finding Nemo ! His staff are incredibly friendly, and are as caring and gentle as the doctor himself.
