Can't imagine the nail-rage here, kinda makes me wonder if these are competing businesses. It is really nice. I am super-busy and often multi-task a catch-up session with a friend at La Bella. These friends are from other parts of the metro area and are so suprised they can get such a nice pedi for $25(w tip) and many have broken up with their other place to come to this one, even without me! It isn't expensive, they always do a lovely job, I go often, once a month maybe, for three or four years. I sometimes do spa things with friends and pedis are pedis, the $75 ones aren't better, just maybe more posh surroundings. But for a 'drive-by' pedi, you can't beat this place. I often haul in my teenagers too, no appt, and they always get us right in, with tea and warm neck wraps. Love this place!
Absolutly the worst experience I have ever had at nail salon.
I'd been here before six or seven years ago and my experiances were good. Since I live very close by, and wanted something professional for an upcoming special event, I thought it was a no brainer to go here.
I must have gotten a blind woman because she rushed me out of the chair with cotton in my polish and it looks like a child painted my nails. I would have complained there but they got this distant look whenever I opened my mouth. Terrible. I'm fuming over this.
I should have done some research and went somewhere with better reviews. The convenience did not pay off with quality! Never again.
Surprisingly nice. I've been a regular Dosha customer for my last few mani-pedis, but the economy has forced me to look for something more reasonably priced. LaBelle was recommended to me by a friend -- a classy friend who knows and demands good service. She was right. Although it looks like it could be a questionable strip-mall nail salon on the outside, it is actually quite nice inside. I was treated very nicely, the massaging chairs were great, and the mani-pedi was well done with a very nice massage and clean polish job. This was better than the Dosha mani-pedis I have had, and half the price. My nail technician, Summer, did very nice work. It also was very clean. It was a very pleasant experience, and my hands and feet look great. I'll definitely go back.
rushed and cheated. Not worth to come here at all. The pedicure only last 15 minutes. The nails place look like a Saturday market ( so noise in Vietnamese language). I recommend all of you not to come here at all.
All you haters:.
La Belle is what it is.. an inexpensive nail salon. I don't know if its is the LO matrons and prima donnas that write the negative comments but let me tell you, These gals do a pretty damn good job spiffying up your nails and crusty old feet for a low, low price and scrawny tip. I know for a fact that they haven' raised the price of service one cent in the past five years.
Yes when the salon is busy it can feel a bit rushed, but if you want a salon experience, pry open your coin purse grandma and PAY the price a nicer salon charges. And lastly, I would a hazard a guess that their English skills trump your Vietnamese language skills too. Sometimes I visit the salon and cannot help but overhear some of the rude things that are said to these decent hard working women and it is insulting. Do they ever complain about your creepy hammertoes and bunions?
NAIL NIGHTMARE. What a nightmare! I made an appointment with a certain nail tech,Nancy. Its bad enough that she sent me over to another person during the last 10 minutes of my nails.(They choose thier favorite customers over others- even during the middle of my nail fill) When my nails were finished I was shocked- my solar nails were CURLED UNDER!! I told them to please fix it- they filed them lightly and said "okay I done you owe $30.00" When I looked for the manager he was napping in one of the pedicure chairs. By that time ( one and half hours later) I was too frustrated to argue so I paid and told them I will never come back again. THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT MONEY AND NOT SERVICE IN ANY WAY!! BEWARE OF THIS NIGHTMARE!!!
Worst salon service EVER!. I'll never return to this salon, I received the worst service I've ever experienced. I made an appoint for noon, no problem. I get there and every gal was busy. The guy, seemed like he might have been the manager, sat me down and gave me what was supposed to be a manicure, it took 10 mins. My nails weren't even clean! Then he moved me over to the pedicure chair for my pedicure...what a joke. He barely rinsing my feet off after he removed the polish and then asked me to walk across the room to the massage chair...my feet were still wet! He painted my nails and then asked for $32. Right after I paid, he asked me to move again...said they needed the chair...my nails were still wet!!! The mistake I made was not asking for my money back. Is it too late? I'm still angry and feel cheated out of $32. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.
elegant and good service. I've been to nail shops in the past but this one truly stands out. This nail shop is very clean, and upscale looking (prices are very reasonable). I live 25 minutes away but would drive out here to get my nails done. The atmoshpere is serene which is a plus. Highly recommended!
long time happy customer.
I have been a customer at this salon since it opened about six years ago. I have found the staff to be very responsive, and I have always had great service! I noticed recently they updated the salon, and added WONDERFUL chairs to sit in (are they called ijoy?) while the technician finishes your pedicure after the whirlpool bath part. I LOVE it!!!
I don't think the other reviewer had a typical experience (getting "nipped")....but it's very unfortunate she had a negative experience. I would recommend this salon to anyone who wants great customer service, an extra clean setting, and great comfort and value.
Beware of nail nippers. First of all, this has to do with the other store located off of Main St. across from Black & White clothing store. La Belle too is not listed here, so I will write a review on this site. I stopped by last week for a quick manicure with my girlfriend. Her nail tech was fine, mine not so much. I don't like nippers to be used during a manicure, so I requested her not to use them. She then proceeded to cut my cuticle severly. Thanks. I firmly told her no nippers again, she obviously did'nt understand. She said no charge, no charge, Ok. She then finished the manicure and I guess she forgot about no charge, and charged me. My girlfriend's manicure was fine, by the way. A note to the owner, please explain when a client requests no nippers or whatever, that is what they mean!
