As a long time piano player, I've been looking for my first grand piano. After visiting all 3 piano stores in Portland area, we found the Classic Piano provides the most passion for pianos and also a great price offer. I love my piano purchase and I highly recommend this place for all the piano lovers!!!

I was referred to Classic Pianos by a friend. He was very impressed with the service and the trade-up policy. Having bought my piano from Classic Pianos I feel the same way. It is a family run business and everyone was very friendly and knowledgable. I was shopping for a digital piano and they explained the differences between the models with no bias towards the higher priced models. They also offered me the best prices available for the models I was interested in without my having to ask. I ended up buying the Yamaha YDP181 and am very happy with it. If I decide to upgrade to another piano within two years, they will give me the full purchase price of my YDP181 towards a piano of greater value (for an acoustic piano it is a lifetime upgrade policy). Although I was focused on digital pianos they have a huge selection of all types of pianos. I highly recommend Classic Pianos.

The customer service I received from Taylor at Classic Pianos was awesome. Not only was he able to answer my list of questions, he gave me plenty of time to consider my options without being pushy or too unavailable. The customer service, selection, and that it is a local/family run business are the top reasons I ended up buying my new piano here.

I was shopping for a digital piano and was referred to Classic Pianos by a friend who bought her digital piano there. Upon arriving there, I was very inpressed with the high level of customer service they provided. Everyone was so friendly and attentive. They were really personable. They gave me a quick tour of the place with some information about the company that made me like them even more. They had a big selection of pianos. As an early beginner, my budget was on the low end so it was a learning experience to see what I could get for my budget. I ended up going a little over my budget to get what I needed/wanted but I was okay with that becuase I really trusted the guy who helped me. I never felt pressured or coerced into anything. He was very honest with what I needed and was more concerned with matching me to a the right piano vs making a bigger sale. I love the piano I got and feel at ease kowing that I have two years to turn it in and have the whole amount I paid for be applied to a new piano. Originally I wanted a Yamaha Cavinova but learned that it was out of my price range. I ended up getting a Yamaha Arius which was closer to my budget and still what I needed. If it weren't for their two year trade up program, I probably would have felt torn between spending the extra money on something I wasn't sure I needed at the time. This way I don't have to worry about that. My husband went a few days later to pick it up and he even said that he was impressed with their customer service. I would recommend seeing them if you even think you want to buy one. Just make sure if you go on the weekends to make an appointment. I didn't have an issue with that, but they were having a big sale the weekend I went and luckily I went early on a Friday, but they usually are very busy on the weekends when they have a sale.

I've never seen such a vast array of pianos that can meet anyone's budget. There are pianos prices from $1,000 to $250,000. It seemed like piano heaven bu the number of pianos from all over the world.

The sales staff is outstanding. They meet with you to identify your specific needs and budget limitation then identify a number of options that will meet the client's specification. They can offer the best deals in town.

I strongly recommend anyone who's looking to buy a piano at least stop by. The store is family owned and the family members are actively involved in the operations of the company.

My sales associate is Margaret Woods. She is very knowledgeable of musical equipment and can obtain the most cost effective product for you.
