Damn right they fix cars!. Took my 89 Jeep Cherokee in to On The Go due to a shot fuel pump - they received it in the late afternoon and had it ready by the next morning. Super good work, and the mechanic complemented me on my choice of automobile, saying that if I ever wanted to sell it, let him know. The BEST Auto Repair Shop. After many years of owning Honda & Acura's in Portland you find yourself at odds all the time when it comes to SERVICING your motorcar. That is until I found On The Go Auto Services. Having an issue that evidentally the dealer could not fix, I gave them a ring and within a 5 minute conversation with Robert, I was very comfortable bringing my Acura there. They were able to diagnos, quote and repair my Acura in a timely and cost effective manner. Far and few between do you come across such professionalism in the automotive repair business. Never again!. On the Go came high recommended to me by a friend who had taken his car there several times. So when my blinker stopped working intermittently, I called and talked with one of the mechanics. We talked about what the problem could be and they got me in the very next day. When I got my car back home, the blinker stopped working again a day later. I called and talked again with the mechanic, asking if they could figure out what was wrong this time. I made another appointment and took my car in again. I asked if I could get a price break or reduction because their work had not fixed the problem with my car. Because they had replaced a part, they were not willing to give me a refund or discount. I tried to be more assertive but they would not budge. I was out $270 for work that didn't fix my car. Thankfully, on the second trip, the car was fixed.

This shop supposedly prides itself on good customer service but I certainly didn't experience that. I tried talking both to the mechanic who worked on my car and the shop manager - no luck. I would not take my car there ever again.  View Less … View More

Highly recommend!. We had spent a lot of money on our van trying to figure out and fix what was wrong with it. We had nearly given up when I took it to On the Go Auto. Dave went above and beyond to find and fix a very obscure problem. He very patiently explained everything to me and put up with all my questions.
