Every time I go into this store their customer service is terrible and they are rude. Their pettites section is below average and the layout is frustrating. Overall, there are better branches of banana than this store and much nicer salespeople elsewhere.
Convenient, one-stop shopping for those who want pieces with long shelf lives..
In Short
Epitomizing office casual wear, Banana Republic started out as a small vendor of safari-inspired clothing before it was purchased by the Gap in 1983. Since then, it has grown into a brand-name behemoth that one-ups the Gap in quality, status and price--but not necessarily creativity. The core of the collection is constant: versatile staples such as khakis, button-down shirts, denim, T-shirts and jackets in solid, organic colors. Lengths and fabrics change slightly according to the season. Some stores have expanded into bedding, fragrance, bath and beauty, and home-furnishing lines.
great clothes. great staff. This is by far the best Bannana Republic that I have been at. Lots of clothes in two rooms that are either hanging up nicely or on a special display. The staff is superb, especially Axel, who is all knowledgable about the merchandise and is real friendly ,and great to look at. Very pleasant experience in a great city that I love to visit. Portland is the best at Yamhill.
banana Republic use to be good. During the late 90's banana was the bomb, but it seem there designers are using cheaper material and the quality has gone down, I use to love the stuff they got, now, its kinda of too modern and stiff and lacks creativity.
