Grossly overpriced Yumm sauce.
I've been shopping here a few years and discovered Yumm Sauce in Eugene. They have 8 oz jars of it for 3.95 and smaller 5oztubs for 2 dollars and change.
I went ot Wild Oats today to find they only have th e5 oz jars for 5.95!! I'm all for profit but I REALLY hope they have someone driving down to Eugene, get a case of 5oz tubs , drive back and triple the price to cover gas.
SADLY they are paying far LESS than retail and STILL tripling retail price.
They (ordering person) even LIED and said Yumm Cafe no longer makes the 8oz jars, and that they ONLY sell the tubs to stores.
I called Yumm Cafe and THEY said they do still have and sell the 8 oz jars to stores.
GGRREEEEDDY Wild Oats! you have lost ALL future business with me even if you ARE only 1 block away, IT's worth the drive to know I'm not getting screwed!
Only health food store downtown. The only thing I don't like about this place is there long lines. Be careful if you go there for lunch during the week. The lines a practically to the back of the store.
what a turn around.
This place was a Wild Oats and it was a depressing place a lot of the time. After the facelift and name change to Whole Foods its a delight! Very upbeat and fun. Great produce and meats. Some of the prices are bit high, but if you stick to house brands, it's very competitve.
The peppered beef in the deli is excellent.
Full-service grocery features organic and natural foods and household products, all without preservatives, artificial flavors and colors or hydrogenated oils..
In Short
In addition to organic produce, dairy items, meats, fish and bulk foods, this national chain prides itself on a wide selection of vegetarian and vegan products, herbal and homeopathic remedies, dietary supplements and full-service seafood, meat, cheese and deli counters. Those looking for specialty products such as wheat-free baked goods, free-range bison steaks or anything soy-based won't be disappointed.
Stick to the canned goods....
Just ate a salad from the Deli that was dirty! Dirty lettuce! Unwashed greens!
Seems like the pride and vitality has been sucked out of this place with all of its repeat sales to various corporate entities.
Consider People's Coop or (especially) New Seasons if you want the real deal...
