So glad I found her!. Dr. Becker is amazing. I am shocked at any negative reviews, because Dr. Becker turned out to be NOTHING like what they said she was. Pay more heed to the positive ones. Dr. Becker is extremely caring, sweet, and intelligent. I highly recommend for gynecological exams. I also highly recommend if you are without insurance, she charges HALF of what other local naturopaths do, and yet gives the same quality of care. I was not disappointed, and in fact left her office relieved at having such a positive gyne experience!…
Extremely nice & friendly doctor!.
I've met Dr. Becker on many occasions, she's very warm, nice and friendly and always makes the patient feels that she cares about them and their conditions. It can be difficult to reach her at times
but that's only because her schedule is quite packed but she does return calls whenever she can.
There's never a long waiting period because she's good at getting her prior appointments done in time so she can see you around the time of your appointment and I really appreciate that.
I would highly recommend this doctor because she does have a wealth of experience and is a caring doctor and that's very important.…
excellent doctor. I met Maureen Becker just after I was diagnosed with breast cancer, stage 3. I truly appreciated her honesty and candor when explaining what she could do - and what she couldn't do to help me. I saw her after every chemotherapy session and was treated with both acupuncture and nurtrional supplements. She was such a help to me during a very difficult time. Even my oncologist couldn't figure out how I was handling chemo so well, and when I told him what I was doing, he told me to keep it up! And it has been 8 years and I have had no further signs of the cancer. And I still see Maureen on a regular basis.…
Absolutely wonderful Naturopathic & Acupuncturist!!. I have been going to Maureen Becker for many years,even before she was at her current location! I consider her a very capable doctor & friend..She listens to my symptoms,and right away she has an idea of what is going on, and about 99.9% of the time she is correct! I get acupuncture once a week, and I come out feeling GREAT! I have read some of the other reviews, and I sincerely dont understand the negative comments?I have never experienced any of the harsh things that have been said.. But,overall what matters is that Maureen Becker is a phenomenal doctor! With a sense of humor to boot! She honestly cares about people and their welfare and will go out of her way to help you feel better. She is definitely not in this field of work for the money,because she is very reasonably priced...The last thing I want to make sure people know is that she is really good about getting people in for an appointment in a reasonable amount of time. Within a couple of days usually! I dont know of any doctors offices that can get you in that fast!…
Neglectful, uncaring physician.
I had been sick for two weeks when I finally made an appointent with Maureen... 30 minutes for $48. Even though I was paying more than a dollar a minute for her, she up and left the exam room for 7
full minutes with no explanation. When she finally did come back to speak with me, she asked me NO questions about my medical history, did not delve into my symptoms, and did not ask questions about my personal life and habits. She performed a quick exam, mentioned something about it being viral, and then started to write me a prescription without telling me what it was. When I asked, she said it was an antibiotic (which should not be prescribed for viral infections) and I then had to ask her point-blank what it was that I was sick with (she was not going to volunteer that information to me). When I expressed that I didn't want antibiotics, she proceeded to try to sell me a Chinese medicine that was pretty much all alcohol. If she had asked questions about me (my life), she would know that I DO NOT drink alcohol. I tell her this and she laughs and says that once she "accidentally" gave this medicine to a woman who was alcoholic.
I was almost in tears by the time I left because I felt so confused and neglected. I called her a few days later to tell her to please not cash my check yet, that I want to speak with her about the treatment I received. She made no effort to return my calls to make the situation right, and cashed my check anyways.
I have never been so appalled by a health care provider and encourage anyone needing a doctor to look elsewhere.…
