Sweet unassuming Thai. We're trying Pad khing and pumpkin curry all over town - and theirs ranks at the top. Fresh ingredients cooked right in front of you (it is a small place) on a well seasoned wok. The place appears super clean. We were there for a Saturday lunch, so I don't know what happens during the week. It was quiet, and I felt very well served. It's a great find for the outer east side.
Awesome Thai food served with a Smile!. This place is called Chai Thai now and I eat there about once a week. Their Pad-Kee-Mou (sp?) noodle dish is warm and wonderful and their Crab Fried Rice is loaded with real crab chunks. Pineapple Fried Rice, Sweet and Sour Chicken, and Spicy Sweet Potato Soup are also favorites. Lek and Phol (brother and sister team) treat every customer as a friend and serve complimentary hot tea and mininature egg rolls (esp if you get it to go). I highly recommend this place!
