I've been to Dragon twice in the last ten years. I don't get tattooed very often but when i do, Dragon is the best. I don't care what others have to say, Dragon has always been very fair and consistently does great work. people don't understand what it takes to run a shop by yourself and run a business. the man is running a business or at least trying to, so all you babies that want a douchebag to ink you...go somewhere else. If you want a professional tattoo artist, i can't think of a better artist than Dragon. He even gave me a little Budda planter the last time i was inked by him.

So glad I found Dragon at Star Tattoo. I previously was tattooed by Mav at Deluxe, and don't get me wrong he is great. I decided I wanted to go in and talk to Dragon at Star Tattoo because he was so close to my house. I really liked Dragon's books and samples of his work so I made a deposit.

I came in wanting 2 tattoos, a large Celtic lotus flower around my leg and a Celtic motherhood knot on the back of my neck. I ended up getting one more, Dragon corrected some lettering that Willow (boo) had totally screwed up. It ended up being 5+ hours of tattooing, but it was worth it and the tats look amazing.

About a year later I came in with a bracelet tattoo of lotus flowers that I really thought was nice. Dragon re-drew the main flower and it was so amazing it made the original one I brought in look stupid. That is my favorite tattoo so far.

I totally trust Dragon with my ink. This is something on my body for the rest of my life, I want to be happy and proud of what I get, so I will keep going back to Dragon.

Next week I am getting a sparrow on my forearm & I think getting my oldest tattoo re-inked. See you soon Dragon!

Dragon is the BOMB!!!. I just got my second Tat from Dragon, my daughter, and sister in law have also gotten original Tat's from Dragon. My brother has the best re-do of any tattoo I have ever seen, Dragon was able to save his orignal tattoo design that was a total hack job, add to it and create an AWSOME piece of body art!

As for the Boom, person that was talked about be "NoneYa-" he left Dragon in a lurch, did not tell him where he would be, and Dragon has had to fix 20 of the 30 tat's Boom did while he was at the shop. He started charging Boom's clients for touch-ups because he did not know where to send them and he was fronting materials and time out of pocket!

My family has had a 5 1/2 year relationship with Dragon, found him to be honest, fair priced, and one of the BEST original tattoo artists in the PDX area!

Liars and Ink. The only thing good that has ever come out of this salon is the artist Boom. Dragon with held contact information from my friend and I claiming that our original artist skipped out. He wanted to charge us a fee for an additional tattoo in order to touch our originals up. He is a greedy, lying pack rack, who is only out for your, money. If you want an honest, fair, and wonderful artist hit up Boom at Jackalope Tattoo on 10th and E Burnside.

New Guy in Town!!!. Okay so the shop is a little umm hectic I guess, filled with stuff to look at thats for sure, but I just got saved from the shop down the street by the new guy at Star Tattoo ... Boom is the ish!!! :) he did an amazing job on my tattoo and even drew up a couple different things for me to choose from. He was caring and professional... I will be back many many times!!

Worth its weight in gold. After eight long years without getting another tattoo, i decided it was time. I checked out several establishments and found Dragon, at Star tattoo, to be the most personable and friendly. I had been to several other places where it seemed like i would be no more than a number to the artist. Dragon does an awesome job and soon i will be going back for more.

Star Rocks!. I only had a couple tattoos when I first moved to Portland. After finding Star and talking with Dragon I'm well on my way to being covered with color. He's very personable and makes you feel comfortable when you're in the chair. Their aftercare is easy to follow and works awesome. The front people answered every question and helped me to get the designs just right. I've found my new Artist!
