A piazza-like layout brings the warmth of an open-air kitchen into the earth-toned dining room at this innovative South American eatery. Here, where the terra cotta walls are bedecked with vivid indigenous art, diners can find traditional Peruvian dishes reimagined with globally tinged flavors. Several zesty ceviches dot the menu, but entrees such as pan-seared duck breast and crispy duck confit served over cilantro-infused rice steal the show. A pisco-brined chicken sided with crispy quinoa-coated potato croquettes is also popular, followed by classic Peruvian alfajores cookies and authentic Peruvian truffles for dessert.

After reading the positive reviews, my husband and I were looking forward to dining at Andinas. After placing our order, we waited 90 minutes before our dinners arrived. My husband's duck dinner was gamey and tough. My scallop dinner was cool (not sure it was cooked). Perhaps we were there on a bad night. The dinners were fairly expensive and our expectations were high.

my boyfriend and i took our moms here for mother's day dinner. we couldn't have picked a better place. there were so many things on the menu that we intriguing, so we decided to order lots of different things to try. the nice thing is that you can order their tapas in three different sizes, so if you want to order something just for your self as an appetizer, you order the small. If you're ordering it as an entrée you can order the large. We all decided to order the medium size for each. We probably ordered 7 or 8 different things and it was more than enough. We were stuffed, but still practically licked the plates clean. The dangerous part is that they have an amazing quinoa bread that they serve with 3 different dipping sauces. I was ready to fill up on that before the meal even began! I recommend trying a bit of everything. I wouldn't know where to start!
