Hapa will always be Beaverton's number 1. I don't know how you can say you weren't impressed with Hapa and tell their customers to go to Roxy's that was on dirty dining TV show. Telling Hapa's customers to go to Roxy's will be like telling Portland City Grill customers to go eat at Outback.

Hapa! You guys are amazing! Keep up the great work. I am sure it's been difficult keeping amazing food for such an amazing price because of the economy! We really appreciate it except for that koco guy.

Hapa Grill not Recommended for Portlanders. I came to the Hapa Grill after getting a gift certificate and was thoroughly not impressed with the restaurant. While it is just down the street from my house, I will not go here again. I had called ahead to see if I can use the gift certificate for to go order and was informed that I must dine in. When I got there, I placed my order at the counter with an unprofessional server who handled money and passed out the uncovered silverware with out washing her hands. I was charged 18% tip (part of the deal of the certificate) before I ever sat down at my table. The food then came out on paper plates and Styrofoam bowls/cups (so why couldn't I have taken it to go). Everything they served was disposable! Between my boyfriend and I, we ended up accumulating 20 pieces of waste for lunch only! I can't imagine how much waste is accumulated through the day with every customer they serve. When we're done, we were expected to bus our own table; so what was the 18% tip for? Also, their customer service was just so-so, the girl that took my order ended up getting it wrong but when I pointed it out, she acknowledge that she took the wrong order and then that was it. She didn't offer to fix it; if she did, I wouldn't have made her do it but it would've been the gesture that counts (I spent $35 dollars for lunch plus $7 tip, it is the least you can expect!).

In a time when Portland is trying to reduce waste and become more environmentally friendly, there are restaurants like Hapa Grill that feels it is not their problem and they can just accumulate as much waste as they want; this effects us all! Please do not eat here if you care at all about reducing our footprint. I take pride that Portland is a leader of the environmentally friendly mentality and sustainability. Hapa Grill goes against all these and if they don't care about the community they live in, why should you spend your hard earned money for their business. Drive a little ways down to Roxy's Island Grill on Walker and Cedar Hills, they have much better food, more affordable, better service and more friendly staff that care about the customer and the community they are in.

Please consider this comment, no restaurant that cares about their community should service Styrofoam, it is not recyclable, and it more polluting than disposable paper waste, it breaks down into smaller pieces that choke our wildlife and eventually enters back into our surroundings through water flow and mechanical forces; how can they serve this every single day to every customer that comes in?

Excellent Hawaiian-infused fare. Here's another positive review to add to the list. Hapa Grill is great. I have lived in the Murrayhill area, near Hapa the entire time it has been open and never thought to go in but decided to check it out the other day. I am so glad I did. The food was really delicious. Good variety, great prices, portion size is good. My kids also loved it. They had the BBQ and it was so tender and tasted so good. We ordered a variety of items on the menu, enough for leftovers the next day and I have to say that I enjoyed everything we ordered. Will definitely go back to Hapa. So happy that I gave it a try.

Stoked to find Hapa!. Out today running errands, looking for a good place to get lunch.. So I grab my Blackberry, go to citysearch and find Hapa Grill. My wife the skeptic didn't want to try someplace sight unseen but the reviews on this site were good so we gave it a shot and were pleased with the food AND the prices. Love the mac salad and array of side choices, service was nice and friendly. We will be back for sure!

Cashier from Hapa. I wanted to thank everyone for taking the time to write such a wonderful reviews about our restaurant. It seems like yesterday when we first got the key to the restaurant and closed down for a week to turn it into what it is today and it's already been three years since we've been opened. It really is home away from home for me and my family and reading these wonderful comments makes every hour at the restaurant worth everything. Thank you!!

The BEST Healthy Hawaiian Grinds on the Westside!. Hapa Grill is one of our family's favorite places to get a delicious meal that is healthy, affordable and and ALWAYS taste great! The food is always fresh, the cafe-setting is cozy & inviting and the owners have the true ALOHA spirit! Some of our favorite grinds are the Kalua Pork Sandwich, the Korean Kalbi Shortribs & the Crispy Chicken Katsu! Once you've tried them, you'll be hooked!

The best take out!. This place has been my and my boyfriend's favorite take out place for about a year now. We probably get food to go about once a week. They have the BEST ribs I have ever had and the Teriyaki Beef is amazing! Definatley worth a try if you have never been

Amazing and healthy Hawaiian. Besides from having delicious and healthy Hawaiian food, this place is our indispensable lifesaver when I - tired after a loooooong day of looking after the kids - don't want to cook. I simply call in my order and my husband picks it up on his way home from work! Furthermore we often serve their food for guests and they love it.

Delightful!. I came into this place not knowing what to expect. It was clean, tidy, and tasefully decorated. The staff was kind and intelligent. I ordered several items for myself and my family and the food arrived quickly, perfectly cooked, and very hot. Everything was tasty. I especially enjoyed the curry. I recommend this place.

Tickles My Fancy. We go there probably every week. Can't get enough. Very clean restaurant with nice staff. The Kahlua pork is to die for. Literally. I would take a bullet for it.
