Great daycare, excellent staff, wonderful boarding. My comments are the same as the positives one's below. Club K-9 provides a wonderful place for dogs. They are picky about who they will accept - dogs too shy or too aggresive, or too loud won't pass their evaluation. They want all the dogs to be in a positive environment. My dog can't wait to get in to play with her friends. It is such a relief to have a place to work off some energy. It's also great to be able to board her where she is already comfortable, happy and active. The staff that run Club K-9 are awesome. They all love the dogs in their care. Her time at Club K-9 has made my dog very confident and social - both with humans and canines. They have a great training program as well - although our trainer left to pursue a vet degree, they have just hired a new one.
Great dog day care. We've been using Club-K-9 for over a year and can't be happier with them. The staff and organization are great. The staff become familar with the dogs quickly and are always providing updates and personalized attention, training, and care. My dog can't wait to get in to play with the other dogs and always comes back tired and happy. It's been a good tool for socialization - her socialization skills are better than they were before as she has become comfortable getting to know unfamilar dogs. Even better, the boarding option provides me comfort in knowing my dog can play all day and not be lonely while I'm traveling. This is such a better option than a kennel!
My dog loves going!!. My dog loves Club K-9. She plays all day and then comes home and sleeps contentedly all night and often even the next day. It's always clean and the staff are very friendly. The staff gives a good update on how she did that day, and helps work on her jumping up while she's with them. A great doggie daycare!
Overpriced and not worth the hassle!. Club K-9 requires a "temperament test." We completed the multi-page application, copied vet records and went to the pet store to buy the required quick-release collar. I called for directions and neither of the employees were able to clearly tell me how to get there. Two hours after drop off, they called to tell us hour dog had failed the test. We were HIGHLY surprised since our dog has been to daycare, boarding, and plays at a dog park daily. Apparently they "fail" a dog who barks b/c it might "stress out the other dogs." Ironically, every time I've called there are multiple dogs barking in the background. There was never any previous mention of barking as a reason for failure. We left work mid-morning to pick him up and paid $16 for the hassle of this ridiculous temperament test. I wouldn't recommend Club K-9 to anyone.
