I am a landlord and they provided beyond abysmal property management services. Never drove by to look at property. Mishandled the tenant and eviction process. Allowed a tenant to run up a $840 water bill that I had to pay for personally. Didn’t take responsibility to notify us of a leak resulting in property damage. Greg the owner of Eqwest wrote an email to my exhusband that “I will do anything to destroy that evil bitch”, which means me as the Landlord after I fired them. Tenants complained about them also. DO NOT RENT FROM EQWEST!!!!! They are by far the most unprofessional company I have ever come across. They scream and yell while on the phone with you, never ever call you back, cuss at you, the husband needs serious help.

Eqwest Cares about Customers!. When I came across a property I loved that Eqwest had posted on Craigslist. I checked the internet for reviews before going through with the application process. Although there were some not so pleasant reviews, I already had to eliminate some as untrue because just after viewing the property I was impressed by the superiority of its cleanliness, and newer appliances. All other properties in this price range were no where near the excellant condition of the property managed by Eqwest. So we went ahead with the app process. I was very clear about what would appear on the application once it came back as far as credit and rental history. We had been turned down a few times before from property managers telling me that we would probably get approved, only to deny us without even asking for a explanation. I was very clear with all the other places

I applied as I was with Kameron from Eqwest and she made me feel confident that it wouldn't be a waste of money because she was not interested in going forward with the app process unless she knew we had a shot at being approved. And when the app came back instead of just denying us right away they were kind enough to allow us to explain each item that might of hurt our chances. This is rare for any company. They approved us for the property when they didn't have to. This is a company that has a heart and cares about there tenants and understands everyday people with everyday lives and the situations that occur to those people. They are also NOT MONEY HUNGRY at all. They worked with us every single time I had to reschedule, or even had to pay a portion of fees instead of all the move in costs. They had no problems with it. In fact Kameron offered to SAVE me a whole bunch of money by changing our move in date to the end of the month so that they could offer the 1st month at half off! this is a special that they were NOT even running for this property! Does that seem like a company that is money hungry? Rescheduling everything for the tenant to better fit there financial needs? when she could of just said "well, sorry those are the dates that everything fell on, and we need payment in full" Now that I've been working 1st hand with Eqwest I know that the reviews on the internet have got to be angry tenants that lost there deposit. I advise you to check them our for yourself. I've been nothing but happy with my experience. And also, the majority of people that have a review are often angry customers. How often are you pleased with a company and remember to make it a point to write a good review for them? not often. That is exactly why I'm writing this, because Eqwest deserves a GREAT review for the way they have been conducting business with us! thanks again Eqwest!

Disgruntled renters. Disgruntled renters are the main reviews out there, they are mad because maybe they didn't receive all or any part of their security deposit back due to damages caused by the renters, their families, friends, roommates and/or pets. The property manager doesn't always have control on who the owners may want to renovate their property, sometimes the property manager will handle it and in some cases the owners have their own vendors they like to use. It usually boils down to the fact if you are a good renter, you will not have any problems, however if you are a bad renter, don't follow the rules and regulations of your Rental Agreement then you will be unhappy and have to face the consequences of your bad behavior.

SLUMLOARDS!!!. I too wish that I had been aware of the multiple negative things floating around on the net regarding these people! I moved into a "renovated" place they had a little over a year ago and have had nothing but issues since. The new carpet, linoleum and paint was done shoddy and was probably as cheap as they could get. The carpet and linoleum started coming up within weeks, mold began growing on the walls as soon as the rain started, the furnace has been dangerous to use, even the gas company told them it needed to be replaced, my sinks have been leaking since I moved in and have never been repaired even though I've put in multiple requests. There are illegal activities going on by other renters and they know about it but don't care because their rent is being paid on time. These people are horrible to deal with and only want your money. STAY AWAY!!!

BEWARE EQwest LLC Criminals, Crooks, Liars, Thieves WARNING. These crooks stole over 6 thousand dollars from me. Needless to say, they took my money and ran the other way. Extremely Rude family. Liars and thieves who deserve to rott! Do not deal with these Renters Eqwest LLC from Vancouver, WA. Don't say I didn't warn you. They WILL take your money. There are around a dozen horrible complaints about these crooks circulating the net. I just wish I would have seen them prior to getting ripped off by EQWEST LLC.
