Being in the salon industry for 18
years and having done everything except platform artistry, this is one of the best places I've ever been. The stylists there are well educated and give their
clients the utmost in great customer service! The salon offers everything from tanning, massage, cosmetic tattooing to having a tattoo artist. There are also a wide array of stylists (all with excellent knowledge and skills I might add!) with varying schedules to fit your busy lifestyle. They offer skilled hair sculpting, expert coloring, extensions, and just about anything you could ever want if you want to get your hands and feet taken care of too. They also have a wide selection of products for your every need. Even the stylists have product for you to enjoy.
The salon is well taken care of, they are very clean and up to date place. When you walk in you are greeted warmly and they are genuinely glad to see you! I highly recommend this place to everyone. You can't go wrong here!!
I've been to Kris many times, and all I have to say is I've never been disappointed. She listens to what I want, and she nails it every time! She really cares about you as a client. bad mani/pedi. Unsanitary!.
I went for a mani/pedi, had an appointment scheduled. It was my first time at Head To Toes and I was super excited.
After selecting my nail color and sitting down for my pedi the gal started rubbing my feet with some exfoliate/lotion stuff. I was stunned to watch her repeatedly double dip into the container. So stunned it didn't even really hit me until after I left. The realization that she likely does that with other customers as well makes me ill.
The color I selected was nearly out and she commented on how after my mani/pedi she would need to toss it because it was clumpy. After the pedi, I suggested I pic a different color because clearly she was having difficulty with it and i didn't mind a different color for my nails. She was adamant that it was fine and started in on my nails.
I will be the first to admit that I should have been more assertive but i truly was in shock. I've NEVER had a situation like that in a salon before. Double-dipping is a huge no-no and the polish job was awful. I went straight home and removed it.
Two other minor things that were a little odd included all of the gals flocking to the window to watch the cops accross the street. I was advised that the cops were over there all the time. Additionally, some of the gals ate lunch at one of the manicure tables in the front. It seemed a bit unsanitary and unprofessional.
Although the hairstylists and/or other manicurists may be fantastic.. after my experience I won't be going back to find out.…
