A Wonderful Wedding Evening. Our son’s wedding ceremony and reception were at the Abernethy Center in September, 2009, and it was a lovely evening from beginning to end. Already in the planning stages the staff was always ready and willing to help coordinate, answer any questions that we had and were very accommodating with our special requests. The ceremony was in the Veiled Garden, which is stunning – beautiful and private. The reception was in the Ballroom which was the perfect venue to celebrate with the newlyweds. The Ballroom itself is beautiful, and after adding our own touches – centerpieces, candles and flowers – it was magical. The catering was better than we ever imagined. The buffet was excellent and beautifully displayed. We had many comments on the delicious dinner. We also had many comments on what a “fun” reception it was. The DJ, Eric, was awesome. He kept the reception flowing so smoothly and involved our guests throughout the evening which they really enjoyed. Our son and his beautiful bride had a very special evening that was extraordinary in every way. We all have treasured memories of their wedding celebration and the start of their new life together.

Incredible Experiences!. As a local business owner, I have had the wonderful opportunity to work with the Abernethy Center on a frequent basis. They are always willing to go above and beyond to make sure every detail is catered to. Whether it be the florist, baker, or DJ, Abernethy Center is dedicated to flawless presentation and outstanding atmosphere all around. It is always a pleasure working with their friendly, flexible staff and I would highly reccomend them to anyone looking for an exquisite event center!

Outstanding!. This place never fails to impress in all aspects of the word! Their attention to detail is unmatched and it would be difficult for a customer to leave not feeling pampered. The facilities and clean and well taken care of with a staff that is always friendly and gracious.

The Best Day of My Life!. My husband and I chose the Abernethy Center for our wedding on September 19, 2009. We couldn't have been happier with the outcome. We thoroughly enjoyed the staff, they were very helpful and friendly. They assisted us with planning the "in's and out's" of our day. One reason (and of the main reasons) for choosing this location: BEAUTIFUL grounds! Our pictures turned out beautifully. And, we had a contingency plan for rain, which we ended up not needing (PHEW!)

We chose the indoor/outdoor package, which included the Veiled Garden ceremony and Abernethy Ballroom reception. The catering was outstanding, we heard many good things from our guests about the food. We also included an open bar in our package and guests were obviously happy about that ;-)

One thing I recommend when setting up your event at the AC is to be clear on "day of" event staff, who will be there as your point person/coordinator.

Overall a beautiful event, great staff, and I defintiely recommend this location, I have no regrets! And, I've heard nothing but great things from all my guest too.

A wedding with pizazz and an awesome venue to boot!. I got married at the Abernethy Center last July and my experience was more than I could have hoped or expected. From the moment we booked at the Abernethy Center, their staff was there to answer any and all of our wedding questions. We felt very guided through the process. We also received all of our 5 star vendors via their recommendation. My husband and I live in California and were looking for a venue that our out of town guests would be dazzled by and the Abernethy Center provided that. The event was smooth and felt very seamless. We still to this day get compliments on how beautiful our wedding was!

Excellent Venue!!!. I loved spending out special day at the Abernethy Center. I would recommend it to anyone, hands down. We had great service the whole way through our planning. The staff had excellent ideas and were there for us the whole day. Very easy to get a hold of and keep in contact with. The venue was nothing short from amazing. Beautiful, awesome prices, and the food was delicious. Best of all, we didn't have to worry about anything the day of the wedding which was great. The Abernethy was perfect!!!

Amazing venue and staff!. The Abernethy Center hosted our daughter's July 2007 wedding. As out-of-towners, we relied very heavily on the staff at the Abernethy Center for advise and guidance in planning this important event. With 230 guests attending the wedding the facilities were absolutely beautiful. The weather co-operated and the ceremony was held in the Veiled Gardens under rain threatening skies which was a perfectly comfortable day. The staff had indoor back up plans for bad weather ready. The reception in the ballroom was incredible. They more than accommodated all of our wishes for our menu. The food and the wedding cake from their bakery were outstanding. Our guests were overly impressed with the food, the hosted bar, and the DJ (Eric) led activities. All of the recommendations for the DJ, flowers, photographer, car rental, etc. performed beyond our expectations. Our daughter's wedding will always be a treasured memory. Everyone had such a great time. We would recommend Alison and the rest staff at the Abernethy Center to anyone planning a wedding. They are amazing!

Best time of my life!!!!!. I had my wedding at the Abernethy Center last year and it was PERFECT!!!!! We have recieved soooo many compliments from our guests. They can't stop telling us how great the food was, how beautifull the place was and that it was the best wedding that they had ever been to. Abernethy staff were more than helpfull!! The sales department was great in helping create the timeline for the event and accomodating my needs and all of the staff at the wedding were so professional, the ceremony specialist made sure I had everything I need before the ceremony and was great in rounding all of the wedding party up to get me down the isle! I couldn't of asked for a more perfect day. I highly recommend the Abernethy Center to anyone looking for a wedding venue, they went above and beyond my expectations!!!!

The Abernethy Center in Oregon City. I will be honest overall the place was amazing! It is truely an amazing site to have a wedding. But, looks can be deceiving. Your wedding is suppose to be the best of you life. Well, mine wasn't!!!!!! The Abernethy Center provides you with a "wedding cordinator". Well, I guess I was misinformed there are no wedding cordinators there are olny the "leads" (people who lead everything/whos in charged). Well they don't lead, direct, take charge of anything. On your wedding day you are pretty much your own cordinator. You direct everything. They have you write out an ouline of your wedding with the time every little detail and that is a big waste of time.
