Best experience with a doctor ever: Jill Ghormley

I feel very lucky to have found Dr. Jill Ghormley. She has successfully treated what has been a four-year battle with giardia. Now only does she know her stuff, but she is also smart, fun, and interesting. I really appreciated that she would see me either early in the morning or on Saturdays so that my treatments did not affect my work responsibilities. After an initial thorough assessment, she gave me options for treatment, by price, so that I could choose what was within my budget. She is easy to reach via email between treatments. I always get the time and attention I need when I see her. I would highly recommend Dr. Jill to anyone, particularly those with GI troubles. I have also been impressed with Pearl staff for their consistency, gentleness, and personal interactions over the phone and in person.

Exellent Care at Pearl Natural Health

At my regular doctor I was diagnosed with myofacial pain syndrome and sent to physical therapy to learn excercises I could do to fix the problem. Over the course of weeks, the pain got worse until I was in constant pain. Finally I sought naturopathic help at Pearl Natural Health. Dr. Weiner had me go on an anti-inflammatory diet and the results were dramatic. Within two weeks I was in pain only occasionally and within two months I was pain free. I had been in pain for more than 15 years! Now I wonder why such a simple decision to seek alternative help wasn't done earlier. Last year I started having allergic type reactions to certain foods. My regular doctor told me I had acid reflux and I was taking Pepcid as a remedy. In time, the condition got worse and I was reacting to everything I ate. So, I went to Pearl Natural Health. I was given a bottle of hydrochloric acid and now I can eat anything again. During all this time I have been receiving acupunture as well. I feel great. I feel younger. Now I wonder why should I go to a regular doctor at all. They always rush in and out of the room. They hardly have any time to hear what you have to say. They are in such a hurry sometimes they don't even listen to you at all. They're already thinking about the next patient they have to see next door in 2 minutes. The nurses run around with timers clipped to their shirts so they can be more efficient. I think the doctors and nurses are fine but they're being driven by non-medical managers that have figured out they can make more money if they can make everybody work faster. I remember when you could see a doctor and you could expect half and hour. The doctor remembered your family, all their names, and the examinations were thourough with every seeming detail attended to by the doctor. What happened!?! Well, at Pearl Natual Health, it's like the good old days again. And the approach is better and takes into account the whole body. I highly recommend them.

Pleasant Place at Pearl

I have been working with Pearl Natural Health for over 4 years. I am constantly amazed by their care, consideration and compassion. Laura Matthews, the office manager, pleasantly greets everyone either on the phone while making arrangements to come in or in person at your arrival. She treats every patient like a gem!

Dr. Weiner and Ellen Goldsmith also deliver that same level of treatment, which has helped me become a healthier human being, knowing that I can come to them with any problem. I would encourage anyone seeking holistic health care to come to the clinic and see for yourself!
