Disappointed. I recently visited their new location in Lake Oswego and was disappointed; probably will not go back. As soon as we were seated we were asked if we'd liike fresh orange juice and we said yes. Out come 2 large glasses of juice - Shortly thereafter, I asked the server if the juice was small or large - she said large and then walked away. My complaint is that if they are going to offer juice, they should ask if you'd like small or large before they deliver it to the table. The hashbrowns had no flavor at all; very bland. The biscuit was very small and more on the heavy side. I have already sent an email note to the location but have not heard back from them.
Great food big portions.. I go here with my boyfriend and split an omlet breakfast and we are still full usually. This place has great food and it is a great value as well. The place feels like you are visiting relatives or friends.
Best Breakfast. Wow, I'm really surprised by all the bad reviews. I have been to Biscuits several times and have never been disappointed. Omelettes are awesome, with plenty of ingredients. The biscuits are fluffy and buttery, and their freezer jam (of which they have 3 flavors) is AMAZING. I have never had bad service. Definitely one of the best breakfasts in Portland.
Not fast, but good!. Biscuits on TV Highway is a great spot to have a leisurely breakfast. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere comfortable and the food excellent. The red potatoes are exactly what a breakfast potato should be-- slightly crispy, slightly soft, with enough seasoning to make them interesting. I'm an omelette type of guy, while my wife enjoys the Eggs Benedict.
Horrible service for mediocre food. Even though tables were available, we had to wait. My order was wrong, and once the waitress brought our food, she didn't have two words for us; she didn't even top off my coffee, not once! The food was bland and either over- or undercooked. And then when I called to see if I had forgotten something on the table, the receptionist actually hung up on me! I've heard great things about Biscuits, but it must have been about someplace else, because this place is absolutely awful.
HORRIBLE Customer Service. Normally have the eggs benedict which was pretty good but this time we have the French Dip. It took over 30 minutes to arrive. The 4 couples seated 10-15 minutes after us got served almost immediately, probably because they all had eggs benedict, which seems to be the only thing they make. The waiter was all attitude. 25 minutes of no food and other being served before us he just said "i don't run the kitchen". NICE. The hostess didnt want to hear our complaints and said, well I TIMED your order and it only took 20 minutes.. It took 35 minutes for out food to come and it was overcooked and fatty. She didnt want to hear complaints and we were not even offered an apology. I dont mind waiting for food to come, but I hate attitude. We were treated like annoying children instead of PAYING adults.
Blah. Someone recomended we try it, and we wish that we could remember who, because they must have meant a different resteraunt. There is no place to wait for a table, you just have to stand around and crown the people who are sitting and eating already. The service was really quite bad. One of our orders was completely wrong, but we waited for so long we didn't want to send it back. The other meal was correct but terrible. Actually, both were terrible. The eggs were massivly undercooked, runny whites, overcooked meat, and the hashbrowns were flavorless and to the point of cardboard. Not to mention after crowding eaters while we waited for a table, we were then crowded by people waiting for us to eat, so they could have our table. It was a very uncomfortable enviroment. Save yourself the indegestion there are plenty of other great eats nearby.
