Love this school!. We absolutely love TVP. My third child is in her final year at TVP... we will really miss it next year! TVP is truly a tight-knit community of families who care about the teachers, the school, and most importantly, their children.

The school is set up in separate areas of play so the children can explore the art room, common room (with teacher project table), and the block room. Each day is spent learning through play.

9-10:15 play/explore (art projects, teacher project, block room, etc.)

10:15-10:40 circle time (music, calendar, stories, counting, birthday time, parachute)

10:40-11:05 snack

11:05-11:20 outdoor or indoor "recess" play time

11:20-11:30 teacher reads a story

11:30 pick up time

This school does not have a "lunch and play" option.

Excellent Co-Op Preschool in the heart of Tualatin. We love Tualatin Valley Preschool! Our son will start his second year at TVP in the Fall of '08. Teacher Wendy and Teacher Raechel are very skilled at identifying each child's needs and they teach in ways that connect with all of the children. My son loves circle time, art projects, story time, and playing both indoors and outdoors....and he especially loves the field trips! He and I both have made many friends through the school. The school is safe and clean, and the parent-helpers all seem to truly care about the school and the children. Co-op's Rock!. Our twin boys are enrolled in the Senior AM Class. They attended the Junior AM Class last year. We also have an older son who attended for two years. This school has been a positive experience for us. The children really do gain a lot from seeing their parents involved in what they are doing. We have met some of the neatest people and have maintained these relationships over the years. The time committment is manageable and a small trade-off for the familes and children you really truly get to know by spending some time at the school. I highly recommend Tualatin Valley Preschool and suggest that families be as heavily involved in the running of the school as possible. You will not regret it.  View Less … View More

Outstanding school!. I enrolled my son in the 3 year old morning class at Tualatin Valley Preschool this fall and it has been a great experience! The teachers are experienced and wonderful with the kids. I love the fact that I'm able to participate in parent help days. It's very comforting to see how your child is doing for yourself.
