LOVE alans work. I already have 2 tattoos from Alan and have 3 friends that go to him as well. I wouldn't go anywhere else for a tattoo. GREAT prices meets GREAT work. First tattoo i got done was my stomach and he was very patient when i laughed because it tickled. Going to get at least 5 more from him : )

great tat shop. ive got do my two tattoos done by alan and he is the only one i will let do my tats and i did my sons name and a detailed tombstone for my grandpa and he puts his own spin on the tat and they come out sick as hell

Ink to die for. Well I've been going to Graveyard for years ..And yes Alen can be loud but most people take him the wrong way...They can put down some bad a@# work and I will go back for all my tats....I have been to alot of tat shop's and this one is top notch .and very clean all new needless on all tats....And I have alot of work by Alen and so dose my wife and friends so say what you want BUT THIS SHOP ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

The only shop ill be getting tattooed at.... Alan has done my whole sleeve and did amazing work. Very clean lines and no blowouts at all. and he was always on time and fun to talk to while hes tattooing you. I will definately be going back. And to those of you who say he doing such bad work you do know he offers free touchups for i think 3 months after the tattoo incase there were any missed lines or problems he would fix them in the touchup.

BoB Platt is Amazing!. I went to Bob Platt @ Graveyard Tattoo because my BF has a tattoo from him that is awesome. I went in wanting to cover up a spider on my back that I got as a foolish 18 year old. I decided on a cherry blossom tree and asked Bob to design something for me. I went in for my 1st 2 hour session in Jan ’08, everything went really well. I am very happy how the trunk of the tree that Bob designed turned out. I went in for my 2nd 2 hour session in March ’08 at that time Bob outlined the branches and blossoms for my tree. The branches cover most of my back and wrap around my left breast, Bob was very professional and made me feel very comfortable, so far so good. 3rd session we added the first color to the blossoms. Along the whole process he really makes sure that I am getting what I want! I was just in again in May ’10 for my 4th 2 hour session, he shaded my branches and added green to the leaves. My tree is coming to life more with every visit. I couldn’t be happier with how wonderful my tattoo has turned out so far! I have at least 2 more 2 hour sessions; you can bet that I’m looking forward to my next visits to Bob @ Graveyard Tattoo. Great price & Great work, Thank You BOB! ~Brooke : )

The BEST in town!. I came to see Bob via a recommendation from my friend Sassy. I was impressed by the work Bob had done for her. I've gotten several tattoos from various "tattoo artist wanna be's" and unfortunatly not happy with a few . I called Bob up and scheduled a consultation. He snapped some pictures, made some suggestions(suggestions that I didnt think were possible). A few days later he emailed me a "before" and "after" of my tattoo that he was going to rework. I was in complete shock at how good it looked. I wish I had come to Bob the first time around. Second times a charm...Bobs doing all my work from here on out! It was helpful to preview his work via MySpace He's a wonderful artist, courteous, fantastic pricing and very professional. He got back to me quickly with the rework and questions. You'd be fool not to see Bob for your work! It's where you should be!

I have trusted Bob for years.. I have 11 tats. 10 of which were done by Bob or one of his advanced students. I have been very happy with this shop. I get what i want, where i want it, and for a reasonable price. I have never been turned away (i make an appointment) and i have no problem with getting touch ups done. I recommend Graveyard Ink to anyone looking for some ink of their own.

My Kind Of Place!!. Bob did my first tattoo a couple years ago and I knew I'd go back for more. I got another tattoo last weekend and absolutely love it!! He collaborated my ideas and added some of his own.....which makes for an original piece that I won't see on someone else.

I'm surprised by the couple comments from people who had to wait a while for a tattoo. C'mon folks...if you're laying in the chair and the artist is finishing up your tat, do you want them to rush up your job since someone else walked in the door? This isn't an HMO doc clinic with a revolving door. Think quality versus quantity here. Which do you really want when it comes to your artwork?

I'll go back for more and was very pleased with the outcome of my new tattoo.....thanks Bob!~

Great work Great prices. I have had Alan Freestad @ Graveyard Tattoo ink my; stomach, both upper arms and 2 on my back. Not once was I made to wait past my appointment time, or asked to pay more than my qoute. The cover-up that he did on my back fixed a 10 year disaster. All of the work that I have gotten there has been above and beyond what I have seen from other shops in Portland. The bad reviews must be from people who are a pain in the a** no matter what. (You know the type)

Awesome, Free Tattoo. OK, not all tattoos at Graveyard Tattoos are FREE. I got my mine from Valen (aka "Val"). He's a student. But OMG, did he do a great job! I love my tattoo!!! It's just what I wanted and it's much more polished than I expected. I will admit that he wasn't the fastest artist. But the results are worth it and it wasn't like he dallied around. He just wanted to make sure that everything was right. I also liked how he explained what he was doing. He prepared me for each step of the tattoo.

There are two full-time artists. Both do excellent work and charge reasonable prices. Valen can't charge because he's a student. He told me NOT TO CALL THE SHOP ASKING ABOUT FREE TATTOOS. He has to get his own clients from Ads on Craig's List.
