Horse's Choice Award

Some boarding stables make you feel stressed that you're going to damage something or that your horse won't reflect well on the barn with its fancy show horses. Others lack professional services and/or have facilities that are unkempt or unsafe. This stable is a perfect blend of servicable and safe facilities combined with a friendly and homey atmosphere. The stalls were always clean and my horse was always at a perfect weight regardless of whether I had time to ride more frequently or less. The turnouts and arenas were safe and there was always space for me to ride when I wanted. While I always felt my horse was cared for like one of the owners' horses, no liberties were ever taken with my horse without my permission. There is no pressure to achieve more than walking down the trail if that's what you prefer. Yet there is also access to quality training and lessons in many different disciplines for people interested in show ring success. The services are affordable, but the lessons learned, friends made, and the peace of mind you will have about your horse's well-being are priceless.
- Pros: Rare find: trainer/instructor that understates their skills
- Cons: Horses will hold it against you if you move away

After many attempts to find a good trainer fortune fell upon us and we found Livingstone Stables. Absolutely recommend lessons with the trainer for both you and your horse. Indoor and outdoor arena, clean stalls, happy horses, and happy owners all at affordable prices.

There's room to ride around the property. Quiet and peaceful place. Trainer is on-site. She is an excellent trainer, deeply caring, and fun. Very good training and board prices. Horses are fed quality hay two times a day. The horses are well taken care of.
- Pros: Setting, Prices, Trainer, Horse Care
- Cons: None that I can think of
