Do they serve alcohol to distract from the bad hair cuts?. Terrible cut. Did not follow instructions and got a generic too short haircut i could have gotten at half the price. Got RED marks on the back of my neck from them holding the clipper too long and had to go to a meeting the next day like that. The Beaverton location was beat up and the equipment looked old and dusty. The worst part is one client brought his toddler and we had to listen to him wail half the time. Never again. View Less …
Great customer service, friendly staff. Hair M was the first place I went to, to get my haircut when I first moved to Portland 2.5yrs ago. I was introduced to Bree and found her friendly, humorous spirit very inviting (especially to a new comer to town not knowing anyone). I have been going to Bree exclusively for 2.5yrs now and have found her service to be consistent, tailored to my needs, and even makes recommendations (whether it be products to use or a change in cut). She knows that I have a tendency to break out on the back of my hairline so she makes sure her razor is at it's sharpest to prevent breakouts. Love this place!. A year ago I was given a gift certificate for Hair M. I called and made an appointment with anyone that was available. Jess turned out to be a perfect match for me. Its been a year now, I usually go back every two months or so. I was just there yesterday for Jess to cut my hair as usual, before my Fiance' and were to get some pictures taken. She and the entire staff have always been friendly and attentive. It is refreshing to know that each time I went back, she remembered what was gong on in my life and is so nice to talk with. I have referred many friends and my future father in law and they have all raved about the place. Of yeah, and you get a beer there as well, that's a nice plus! So, keep up the good work! Good Men's Salon space, but the Hair Cuts are rushed.
HAIR M is a nice space that looks great and has the appearance of good service. You get beers, coffee etc., a show of professional
appearing service, while you wait for your hair cut and the hair cuts are not too bad as well.
But, they do rush you and do not live up to the advertised Grooming Services description on the website.
My friends and I have had King and Emperors cuts from Leah and Bree their top L4 stylists and both give decent cuts but skip the neck rub, skimp a few minutes on the head and hand massage, and you end up with your 45 min King service reduced to 30 min or 60 min Emperors cut service reduced to 45 min or less which makes you feel a little cheated.
Follow through on the advertised Grooming Service description and time would be nice please!
