Oh La La. I experienced the Fragrant Hot Stone Massage just to try something new. As a massage therapist myself (new to Portland and the spa's here), I've been around the block when it comes to massages & body treatments and was blown away by this "ritual". It incorporated warm oil, hot stones, specifically designed blends of essential oils, and the fantastic touch of Noora the Massage Therapist. I'm used to the deep tissue, heavy handed massages that I sometimes need, but despite this being "lighter" than what I'm used to I felt so relaxed physically and mentally. Actually, I felt a bit loopy the first 10 minutes I was off the table! :) I feel so energized and healthy and alive still from that massage! Try 1. Fragrant Stone Massage 2. Noora is amazing!!!!

Ahh! Spa Willamina. Very impessive. I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I visited Spa Willamina but I figured it was going to be a good place to relax and be pampered by researching there web sit and reviews. Fortunately I was not wrong. It was an Amazing experience.

Granted Spa Willamina is in the basement of the owners house in the lovely Hollywood District of NE Portland but as I entered through the back door and down the stairs to the spa area I got tingles down my back. It is a small, warm and cozy space with the perfect lighting and the most relaxing music. I immediately felt calm and relaxed.

I have been to many spas in Portland from Aveda to your average spas around town and from those experiences I never really thought facials or massages were even worth half the money I paid and I definitely didn't experience pure bliss and relaxation like I wanted. Plus there is always a catch when you go to spas they just want you to buy there product.

At Spa Willamina that was not the case. I was offered a sample of their product (which is made by the owner) and was also offered the best skin care advice ever (they did not push their product at all). Plus with each facial you get a neck, arm, and hand massage! And on top of all that my skin is soft and glowing (I got the alpha+facial!) I really appreciated my experience there and cant wait to go back! Go to their web site and read their estheticians bios and you will be impressed.

Fabulous facial. I used a SpaFinder gift certificate here and tried the detox facial, which was amazing because it wasn't just a wonderful facial, it included an arm and face/head massage also! Erin created a wonderful experience for me and my skin looks great! I love their products too. I will return soon!

Best facial ever. Alicia does the best facials in town. I have been going to her for a few years and she is always on the lookout for great new products to enhance her facials. I am currently using the Spa Willamina line and am having great results. I would highly recommend Alicia, especially if you have sensitive skin like me.

Amazing facial!. The facial was amazing! My skin glowed for weeks. Alicia was very knowledgable, and professionally addressed my skin's needs. The spa has a great environment-very comfortable and relaxing-it was just what I was looking for.

Loved it!. Erin McGovern has got the magic touch when it comes to facials. The face massage she gave me was unlike any other I've had. It was an out of body experience!! I like their line of products as well - excellent quality and full of good things for the skin!

The best facial I've ever had.. I come to Portland 4 times a year to visit my daughter and now to see Alicia at Spa Willamina. I'm hooked - a beautiful facility, excellent product line and most importantly, the right touch. Alicia exudes knowledgeable professionalism and a genuine concern for getting my skin where I want it in the next year. As a woman in my fifties, I'm concerned with my aging skin and now have a regime for addressing fine lines and wrinkles, under eye circles, and dehydration until the next time I can get here. I couldn't be more thrilled!

The best esthetician EVER!!!!. I received the most realxing facial from Alicia last week!!! She used a pumpkin mask that smelled so yummy I wanted to taste it!!! :) She has the most incredible touch!!!! I hadn't had a facial in quite a while and my skin was in need!! I walked out of there so relaxed and greatful for my new radiance!!! The spa itself is so adorable!! I felt very comfortable and the receptionist was very sweet as well! I appreciate the ambiance and the positive feeling of Spa Willamina! I have been to many spas all over the Portland area! This one is top of the top!!!!

Urban Zen. I have been going to Willow's place for years and the atmosphere for the cost can't be beat! The staff are always pleasant and make you very comfortable, the linens are crisp and clean, and the beds are always warm. I just wish they did Brazilians! Then they would be perfect.

What a WONDERFUL experience!. My fiancee and I recently went to Spa Willamina to receive the Lu-Lur package, which is a ritual ceremony practised in Bali, Indonesia before getting married. It includes a foot bath/massage with essential oils accompanied with a green tea. Then followed a nice and relaxing massage. Sarah, who worked on me was absolutely wonderful! She was gentle but yet she knew where to put a stronger touch and I could feel the experience behind her. After this came a body scrubb with Tamari and rice flour. Whoaaa!! I never had this done to me before! It was very interesting to have the oil and the rice flour mixed together on your skin. But the best part was the feeling of your body after the shower. I don't recall having such a soft skin ever! I highly recommend it to anyone. Almost 3 hours later, your treatment ends with a cocoa butter rubbed on you. What a finale! Spa Willamina is a lovely place that I will advertise for as long as it's here in Portland. Also, I learned that the Spa itself was built by the owner's husband who is a general contractor in remodelling houses. The attention to details is there. We personaly have a bathroom remodel coming up and I just found the person who will do it!
