Editorial Review for Bartini – by Nancy Levenson
The Scene
The dim yellow light fixtures hanging down in the black-as-night interior provide just enough light for perusing the extensive drink list. The high-ceilinged space, formerly an Italian restaurant, is tiny--about the size of a studio apartment. Perch yourself at a window table for prime people-watching or snuggle on the couch toward the back.
The Draw
Tradition has been tossed aside in favor of creating cocktails that are anything but run-of-the-mill. Start off with something from the garden menu, such as a subtly scrumptious lemon-basil martini or the bubbly Sweet Nasturtium martini with champagne. Next, sip on a fresh and fruity white-peach martini or the decadent "Snicker-tini," a liquid version of the snack that really satisfies. The mixologists behind the bar are constantly inventing the next big drink, so be sure to ask for a taste of their latest concoction.

Upon discovering the Brazen bean was moving locations and needing a delicious martini fix...I wandered up to Bartini. Happy Hour here pushes the Brazen six feet under. A delicious Pear Martini for 3.50???? Unheard of! One of the female servers there (the first time I went) was quite rude. I generally like to ask the servers what their favorite beverage is, her response was "I don't drink these drinks here." Thankfully the second go around a petite brunette was a smiley face was our server. I wish I could have gotten her name she was perfect. Just know before you go...The angry looking taller brunette server is very snippy and not at all friendly. The atmosphere is pretty enough that if you do get 'the rude one' it won't matter so much. That and the drinks are dangerously sneaky. All in all. Great place!
Pros: excellent happy hour, good fondue, inventive cocktails
Cons: rude server, parking, really early happy hour

I have never been to Bartini before I have heard of it but this was my first time. Off the charts, the place is full for Happy Hour and I can see why. The drinks are huge taste amazing. The food crazy good, Flat breads, Polenta, Cheddar fondue you can eat dinner here for $10 Bucks. So we come back on Sunday Packed again full of happy people. But we got to sit in the dining room because it was too full ! Cool ! So we ordered a couple Martinis but tried the entrees. Lobster and fresh pea risotto. Nobody in this town can make risotto right. Spot on and my Husband had the Steak with Lobster Mashed potatoes. Amazing love this place. It seems like everyone does because Urban Fondue was Packed when we left. These people Know how to operate. The server in the restaurant Sarah Perfect service. Nice job guys !
Pros: every thing is amazing
Cons: Need to build one on the east side
