Editorial Review by Citysearch Editors. Fitness and weight-loss facility offers women nutritional guidance and 30-minute workouts that combine aerobic and strength training.
Best for fat sedentary women or seniors only!. The Curves circuit is fluffy, best for overweight sedantary women or seniors. The best workout is at a real gym using aerobic machines like the elyptical and air pressurized and or weight machines. Also gyms have mat work with the ball and free weights to work your core. Curves Plateau. Curves is great if you just want to get active again, they are nice people with good intentions. But you will find that you quickly reach a fitness plateau and no matter how hard you try, you will not get any stronger or loose any more weight, (assuming diet stays the same) because the equipment is non-adjustable and the 30 minute circuit is restricting, even working out every day... The reality is that I lost about 150-200 calories per workout ... working and sweating as hard as I could on their machines. I am in better shape now, but I have not lost the weight they promised I would. It just didn't work for me.…
