Great Beer and Bartender!. I have been going to Henry's for years with my husband and keep coming back for two reasons: the great beer selection and the great service from Sean (the bartender). All the bartenders seem good but he is by far the best! He goes above and beyond! Even when he isn't the bartender serving us, he still makes a point to come up and say "hello" and thank us for coming in. We are always so impressed with his work ethic, quality of drinks he makes and personality. We will continue coming back as long as he is still working there!

Service with a sneer. I went to Henrys last night for there late night happy hour. There food is fantastic and until last night i've always had very friendly and personable servers. As a fellow server myself I am no stranger to working in customer service and I was VERY disppointed in the server I had last night. Her greeting and demeanor were very cold and she acted very bothered when my friend asked questions about the beer menu. She even ignored us when we tried to get her attention, she looked straight at us and pretending not to see us. Her service was dismal as was her personality. Usually the service at Henry's is wonderful but it seems that their hiring policies have changed. If you get Sara R. ask to be moved to another servers section unless you want to go through the same unpleasant meal experience I did.

Great atmosphere. Portland is known for being a foodie city, it can be difficult to set yourself apart. But i just love the look of this resturant and the food is always tasty!

You will not be let down. I like Henry's better in the summer when you can sit outside. The drinks are predictable and this is good - never a bad drink and yet never a great drink.

Average food and often very packed. There is nothing wrong with this location yet nothing great.

Impressed. In general I'm difficult to impress where food is concerned, but this place blew me away. I'd been to the bar on a number of occasions, though never ordered food. Wish I'd known sooner...geez.

Everything was spot on and I raved all night about how great it was. There are tons of places in Portland that are trying to step up their menus and Henry's has hit it out of the park!

Absolute worst service EVER. Recently sat outside on a lovely Sunday afternoon. The server came to the table right away and took our order for beer and wine. It took 26 min to get our order. By chance we had checked what time we had arrived as we had just finished the 4T trail (fantastic by the way).

About ½ through our 26 min wait for beverages the server took our food order. We finally received our food 58 min. after we had arrived. The food was mediocre and the wine was the wrong thing.

I talked to the manager who simply said sorry we are having “execution” problems with the kitchen and the wait staff.

I can tell you who should be “executed”…. Both management and the staff.

Don’t waste your time with this one. There are SSSSOOOOO many other great choices in the neighborhood!!!

Great Happy Hour!!!. So happy hour is awesome at Henry's, the food is great, portions are fantastic, prices are good and the raspberry drop is DELICIOUS!

Bad svc the last time we went though, so they are losing their edge. They told us we could go upstairs in a booth for HH and then no one came for 10 mins so we came back downstairs and then no one came for another 10 mins and finally I had to go to the bar and tell the bartender we needed svc! Irritating! Then 1 waitress comes and slaps down menus like it's our fault and another comes to take our order. After the food came we got no other service. DISAPPOINTING!

Excellent beer selection and killer happy hour menu. The beer selection on tap is amazing, over 100+ and I'm not even a beer drinker. Their happy hour menu and pricing is unrivaled and their specialty cocktails (my fave is the Hot & Passionate) are worth writing home about. All in all, a great bar and even better happy hour.

Beer cheddar soup, need I say more!. Love this place you have to try the beer cheddar soup consider the cup but get the bowl its so good you will lick your plate, well I did.

There food menus has a ton of styles for every taste. Beer menu is great with little descriptions if your in the mood to try something new. We have taken out-of-towner's there on a number of occasions and everyone loves it. Try eating in the bar, big booths or tables. Really cool spot.
