Customer service is really nice.. I went there on a car audio parts they do not have, these guys were so patient that they acknowledged my idea to created one for me.
Rude, unhelpfull, and expensive. I walked in the door and I was ignored untill I walked to the head unit area. An old guy walked up to me and asked me if I needed any prices. This was because they were not marked. I told him I was only looking . He bacame bossy and asked me when I planned on buying something. This is not the way to treat a customer! Despite his attitude I told him within the week. He gave me a price on last years head unit and it was three time what it was priced online new. The one they were selling was a display. Other stores in the area are 100 cheaper. I continued to look because I had time to kill. I said wow when he told me the price on some other head units. He asked me where I had seen them cheaper. I told him about the other stores and online. He then refused to help me at all. I cannot remember when I have recieved such poor customer service.
Best place for an Alarm or Stereo worth the drive.
These guys put in an alarm in my Chevy Express van and did a great job. Brandon up front at the counter is sharp and helpful. The installer called me and walked me through some custom lock plates I wanted installed.
Everything on my checklist was done right.
It seems every time I depend on anyone for service nowadays I get disappointed. Not this time, top notch, highly recommended.
Excellent prices and service. I came in knowing the exact car stereo receiver that I wanted, as I had done a little online research. I was relieved to find that the staff was very friendly and were there to help me as soon as I walked through the door. They didn't try to "upsale" me on a more expensive model; I was just asked few questions about my car so they could estimate the price of installation. At $35 for an after-market install, it's hard to find a better deal. The sale price on my stereo receiver beat Outrageous Audio and Cartoys sales. They matched the price of Fry's on clearance. It's a no-frills showroom with hand-made price stickers, but that's just fine with me, as the staff is very knowledgeable seem to want you get what is right for you. Installation was done quickly in 30 mins, and I was told I had a lifetime warranty. This came in handy, because as I drove away I noticed a slight whining sound when I accelerated. I drove right back and they fixed it on the spot within 10 minutes with no hassle. I'm confident that if anything happens in the future, they'll stand behind their warranty and take care of the problem.
STIFFED. I went to Car Stereo City to get a new dvd and an inverter for video games in the car. I drove off happy, when turning on the inverter smoke began to pour out of my dash and my car died. My car continued to die. Long story short, they had wired direct to my ignition and burned out my ignition. It cost my several hundred dollars for a new ignition, my dvd system that worked just fine when I first went in ,is dead and my new inverter has never worked. I also have a mess of wires hanging under my dash. CAR STEREO CITY DOES NOT BACK THEIR WORK. The refused to take any responsibility for their mistake. I can't stress enough, this is the worst kind of business to get involved with. SEEK PROFESSIONAL HELP ELSEWHERE.
Jerks!. I walked into the store asking what a good system with alot of bass and had top of the line speakers for 4,000 bucks would be. And they told me i was asking the wrong question so i left....and i drove to car sterio city and those guys where nice and gave great service...
Excellent service. I went in to switch out the VCR player in our van for a DVD player. I had told the salesman that I was hoping that the infr-red sensor on the TV screen would still work to control the new DVD player. He looked at it and said he thought it would--"It looks like a universal." The price on the DVD player and the install was going to be $185.00 (Car Toys would do it for $250 plus installation). The old VCR was simply held to the floor in the front of the van with Velcro, so I had them put the DVD player in the same place. When I got home I found that the battery in the remote was dead and that the infra-red remote receptor on the TV didn't work with the DVD player. I went back in the next morning and pointed this out, and also said that my wife would like the player installed under the dash, above the footwell, on the passenger's side (out of the way). They were very apologetic about the remote battery, and said they would run the remote sensor that came with the deck anywhere I wanted it. In addition, they reinstalled the deck where my wife wanted it--THEY DID ALL THIS FOR FREE! Just running the remote sensor required him to get behind the dash, into a side panel, and into the roof to route it.
Very helpful. I came in with an old sony radio looking for a wiring Harness. They didn't have it in the store, Went through the trouble of ordering it for me. Very friendly staff, and helpful!
