Best Brows in Portland!. It is very hard to find a great brow place, but I found it today! Rebekah Star is amazing. She puts you at ease and you trust her with your brows from the first minute! I learned about Rebekah Star Brow Studio through SharingSpree and was lucky enough to get the red carpet facial as well. My brows look great and my skin is still glowing from the peel. I would recommend her to anyone needing a new brow person AND recommend the red carpet facial to anyone needing to pamper themselves. It is an hour of pampering that everyone deserves!

Rebekah Star - Best Brow Shaping Ever!!!. Rebekah was able to give me the arch in my brows that NO other stylist could do. I had given up hope that I could have much of an arch because my brows are pretty sparse and so much lighter than my natural hair color that I now have them tinted. Even though the tint had worn off and my brows were back to their light-brown color, she was able to create the PERFECT arch, even without tinting and makeup. So when she filled them in with some pencil, they were even more perfect!!! She's amazing. Book you appointment NOW!!! :)

Love the haircuts by Shelly!. I never write reviews but I'm so happy with my hairdresser I have to sing her praises. Shelly has cut my hair the last couple of years; she is incredibly talented, knowledgable, and skilled, offering fantastic prices for her skill and experience level.

Recently my mom and I went to get cuts that we'd been waiting a long time for- we really needed a lift with this new style. Although my requests were all over the place Shelly translated it all into the PERFECT cut for me, and an equally perfect cut for my mother, two totally different hair types! We couldn't stop staring at how cute the other's hair was, ie: you can trust her. Whether you have a specific idea in mind or don't have a clue, you will get what you want if not more. I have had many hair cuts over the years with hundreds of different stylists, including those considered high-end artists and even well-known fashion hair "designers", and I'd still recommend Shelly and her posse over anyone else.

You can find Shelly Yamane and her coworkers at her new studio on 19th street- a new spot for her, which actually has a big parking lot too- SO helpful in Portland.

Yamane Salon New Location!. Yamane Salon has a great new location, they are at 832 NW 19th st.

The salon is unique in that each stylist has a private hair studio within the salon, your appointment is catered to you, sit back enjoy a glass of wine or a cup of coffee engage in conversation with your stylist all in the privacy of these individual studios...it's great!

With the salon just opening last week Shelley and Jaqueline are the first stylists working there and are planning on adding more stylists soon, so if your hairstylist is looking for a space that they can customize as their own tell them about Yamane Salon!

Andrew is fantastic!. He was very attentive, and listened to what I said. My color came out amazing. It's like he read my mind! I felt like all of his attention was focused on me. He's very kind, personal and not at all snooty. Go to him! You won't regret it.

Great haircut and personal service. I just got a wash and cut at Yamane this week. I needed a style change and trusted the hairstylist April to make suggestions. Without any doubt it is the best cut I've ever had and I will definitely be going back. If you want to look great and experience a relaxed atmosphere this is the place to go! Their prices are reasonable and the service is highly personal - much better than the downtown salons I have been to.

over priced for the skill. I was disappointed with my haircut. A hair salon charged $50 for hair cut should provide better quality. However, my hair stylist showed so-so skill and my hair looked like $25 haircut. I had to go back to my Japanese hair stylist in Beaverton to recut my hair.

I had the best time!. I wanted to let everyone know that my experience with April was great! She was thorough, thoughtful and talented. I know that she wouldn't let me do anything that wouldn't look fabulous!

The best stylist in Portland, I swear.. Having spent time in NY, LA and DC, I have had some of the best haircuts out there and I took a good stylist for granted. I have lived in Portland for nearly four years now and could not get a decent haircut!!! NO LIE, I really tried. I couldn't believe it. I had thought that I would need to resign myself to ponytails for the rest of my days until I found April. She did a beautiful job, very high-end and stylish. I feel fabulous!!! She is the BEST in this town.
