This is no longer the place that has been reviewed previously.... new management maybe?. All the reviews on here list Chanel and Chanel is no longer there. The woman I saw (Claudia) didn't speak English as well as would be helpful, and I don't speak Spanish, so there was a lot of hand gestures needed for communication. I knew this was not the kind of place I normally go to as soon as she asked if I wanted my hair washed, and when I said yes she asked if I wanted it before or after my cut. This is totally outside of my experience at a salon besides a Supercuts or Great Clips level of place. I was looking for a salon a tier or two higher than that.

The cut didn't come out looking like the picture I picked out from their books which would be fine except that she nodded enthusiastically and said "we can do that! so cute!" On the other hand, it's a pretty good cut and suits my face okay, but the part that didn't work will have to be recut (on my neckline basically). I made an appt to go back for highlights around my face, but I haven't decided for sure if I'm going.

There was another younger woman there she was speaking Spanish with, leaving me wondering what they were saying, but she turned out to speak English very well when she had a customer come in that also found the salon via Citysearch. I wonder what her experience was like. She seemed pretty knowledgeable about hair.

Lastly, there was a young kid (maybe 8) there playing a video game, with lots of "mama! mama!"s.

I wouldn't recommend this place but I wouldn't say don't go either. If you speak Spanish by all means. They were very pleasant (other than the speaking in Spanish for the first 10 minutes I was there), just don't expect anything like what has been listed previously for this salon. It's just not like that.

Great Experience. I found this Salon on Citysearch and the experience I had was wonderful. The hair stylist skill was excellent. The salon is clean and well organized, and the staff are very friendly. I got one of the best cuts and color I have ever gotten. I highly recommend this salon.

Wonderful discovery!. I found this salon using CitySearch. So glad I checked them out. I got the most amazing & beautiful color & highlights. One of the best I've ever had. Chanel is fabulous! The women are so nice & friendly. I felt at ease. Took my daughter back for her very first salon cut. Loves it!

Another Happy Customer!. Based on the review from "Color", I went to Chanel at Classic Image. She was very customer service oriented and worked around my schedule. I had botched my own hair using too dark of permanent dye and she was able to lighten me to this beautiful auburn color with gorgeous highlights. I've received so many compliments from my friends. My hair hasn't looked this good in years! I would highly recommend this stylist.

Color. I went to A Classic Image on a referral from a friend, I went to see Chanel, she is a new stylist from Colorado. Her color line is very interesting, Non-Amonia? Ive never heard of this before, after my color my hair was so soft and conditioned. She took her time with my consultation, we decided on a great color, and all I can say is I love it! I would reccomend her highly. The whole staff was so friendly, the environment was so warm and inviting. The prices are great, I'm so glad that I chose to try somewhere new. I will be back...

VERY HAPPY CLIENT. I searched and found A Classic Image online after a Day Spa in Tualatin ruined my hair, I was so unhappy with how I was treated, and of course how my hair turned out, so I went and saw the girls at A Classic Image, they were so Nice and Sweet, I felt comfortable the second I walked in the door, I left looking great, they listened to all of my concerns & questions. I ended up looking how I wanted in the first place. I would recommend it to anyone I was so happy when I left.
