Best in the Business. If you need a cobbler, Dorian's is the place to go! I've used them for several years now and they've always done great work with a smile. I am so happy to have these folks downtown and close to work. Their turnaround on simple things is quite quick, but if you want your shoes rebuilt, it can take a little while (but the wait is worth it!). Every time they've finished my shoes before promised, they've called to let me know they're ready to pick up. Another plus for Portland!…

Stupidity. I took there a really nice vintage leather and beads belt for changing the belt buckle. I wanted to fit a bakelite 1930's one. It did look a little too big and I pointed that out to him, but changing belt buckle not being my job I didn't realize the part going through the holes was actually really big.

Now, if changing belt buckle is your job and you realize to fit it you will have to make holes nearly as big as the belt would not cross your mind to double check with your client before doing it, considering I left you my number?

I never used them before, read loads of good reviews and thought to give it a try, they are probably excellent with heels and rubber soles but not the right people for jobs asking a little bit more consideration, knowledge and understanding.…

Hre Ghtr Great repair work and nice people!. I've been going to Dorian's for about 4 years and have never been disappointed. They do an incredible job with their repairs, whether it's a simple heel cap replacement or something more complicated. Their turnaround time is a bit lengthy at times but a please and thank you go a long ways in getting something done by the date you need it. They always call the minute your shoes are ready and they've never been been done later than promised. And their prices are incredibly reasonable.…
