GREY WEATHERS IS NOW AT CLACKAMAS TOWN
Hello everyone! Thanks for the great reviews! I am now doing colour at the Clackamas location and I am still accepting new clients! The number is (503) 513-4700.
Worst hair cut ever in Portland. Paid $55 for one of their new stylists (this was their lowest price), and learned that this was the stylists first job after beauty school (which she said she hated and thought about dropping out several times). Went back one week later after feeling like she didn't take any hair off, and brought in pictures to show her exactly what I wanted. She proceeded to hack my hair for over an hour, and I lift looking like Carol Brady in 1978, and not at all like the picture that I brought in. I've had many successful haircuts @ T&G, but their stylists have gotten worse as the years go by, and I've finally given up on them. Hair stylists in Portland are a dime a dozen, and you can find a much better deal.
It's the best haircut and color I've ever had!.
Dear Ross and Liz,
It's the best cut and color I've every had! I came to you with a picture and an idea, and you came out with better than the picture. The cut and color is glamorous and easy. If anybody has to look good by 7 a.m. you are the people to come to.
hair painting/balayage & cut.
After hearing mixed reviews... I decided to give toni & guy a try. I was in search of a new cut and quality color and wanted a little more of an edgier more stylish cut.
Great experience and for a reasonable price!
erin cut my hair. She's more "junior" as far as rate, but she's really great. I wanted a fairly edgy angled bob....something you can't just trust to anyone (or else you'll end up with mom hair) and she completely understood what I wanted to a T. Looks great.
grey did my color, he corrected the brassy blonde tones left over from the previous color I had, and brought me to a VERY natural light brown and then balayaged my highlights in to look sun-kissed I will be seeing both of you two again!
baliage by gray.
I've tried a number of salons since moving to portland with overpriced, mediocre results. I'll never go anywhere but TG from now on. I am so glad I found gray. He is incredibly talented! I've seen him twice, once for full balayage and just recently for partial balayage. Under his guidance I'm embracing my natural color and have been delighted with the results so far.
My current look is a natural dark blond with highlights painted on. I can't wait to see it grow out. The best part of balayage (done well, that is) is that rather than becoming increasingly annoyed as your roots grow out, instead you'll see that your hair just looks better and better as the weeks go on. As a former highlight addict I can't tell you what a relief it is for my psyche and finances to actually be HAPPY to go longer between appointments.
gray is truly a strategic thinker, with impeccable technique and vision, and you WILL get your money's worth. He works with you to make a plan for your hair and applies the color in a customized and always-flattering way. I can't say enough good things.
the only downside is that after you get your colour you have to pay for a blow dry, but other than that it's wonderful!
Diane. I have to compliment Diane. She is the best stylist that I have ever come across. I am so picky and never happy with the outcome. But Diane changed that for me. I called to make an appt. yesterday and she is gone. They wouldn;t tell me where she is, so if anyone out there knows, please pass that info along.
Awesome hair. I have been going here for 6 years. Last time I got my hair cut done by Jaquiline..I don't know how to spell her name right but anways it was a great cut. She did exactly what I wanted and I am very picky about what I want. The only con was that I was late to work because she took so long cutting it. Normally it takes 1-2 hrs but this time it took 3 and I wasn't expecting that. She did do a good job though and told me she was sorry she made me late to work. At least when I got to work everyone complimented my hair! I would go back again but not so sure after reading all the great reviews about Blades!
learned my lesson. I had great color and highlights done by Ceanna about a year ago..when my roots were in dire need of a touchup I went to a salon closer to home. Let's just say that was a mistake! I learned my lesson and will only go back to Ceanna for color she is awesome!
BAD customer service, Below Average cut.
What kind of CLOWN do they have working the front desk?! I believe his name was Blake or something, but when I called to schedule an appointment a couple of weeks ago, he was very rude and seemed as If was a bother. When I finished making an appointment he just hung up. No "goodbye", nothing! When I arrived later that day for my appointment, he seemed too buried in a magazine to notice that I had been standing at the desk for a few minutes. He checked me in and told me my stylist Aaron (it's a girl) would be a minute. While I was waiting Blake was arguing with his father on the phone! And cursing like no tomorrow! Are you kidding me?!
Anyways, Aaron cut my hair. It was alright I guess. she was nice though. Extremely nice and talkative which made my day a little better. But she thinned my hair out way too much and now it looks frizzy. I don't think those special thinning scissors should ever be used on medium length hair.
Overall, I don't think I'll be coming back. They need to do something about the front desk situation because it made the 3 of us customers extremely uncomfortable. And I expected more from a manager because the cut really wasnt that spectacular.
