The Best Bike Shop. Any bike shop needs to have the basics: knowledgeable staff, good mechanics, and good product. What sets CyclePath above the rest is their quick attention to my cycling problem, making me a priority, and taking the time to talk to me about my needs. These guys are top notch and it is a pleasure to go to their shop. Not to mention all the nice new eye candy to look at. CyclePath is the perfect bike shop.

Lots of eye candy. I like to go int there and look at bikes but the two owners, Josh and Bill, are arrogant bike snobs. Nonetheless, good service and a great place to go if you are new to high-end bikes. Bill gave me this goofy thesis about Pacific Rim bikes that made no sense because he sells them. Even US made frames are littered with oversees' parts.

I don't know, I would recommend going in but bring a full wallet and be prepared from a lot of snobbery.

Awesome service. I drove all the way down to Cycle Path from Seattle to purchase a Pivot Mach 4 (completely sold out in WA). My buying experience was great. I was encouraged to take the bike out for a "real" test ride as opposed to just riding around in the parking lot or around the block. I wanted a few components swapped out and they did that on the spot with no problems and we took the extra time needed to dial in the fit and adjust suspension for to my liking. I used to race XC in college but have been out of the tech stuff for almost 7 years now, so I had a ton of questions all of which were answered to a level that showed these guys knew what they were talking about. They're a cool bunch, I like bike shops that don't mind letting you watch them work on your bike which was the case here. I got to ask more questions while they were setting the bike up. Added bonus, it was a hot day and my pug was going to overheat in the car, so they let me bring her inside and hang out while I went test riding bikes. I will be visiting here whenever I come to Portland from now on.

high end shop that caters to every price point. As many reviews have noted, Cyclepath tends to be a high end shop where many of the bikes will cost more than your car. But they cater to every price point. I have had extensive work done on an older road bike (now a commuter) and was supplied with replacement parts that were very price appropriate for the job. I have also purchased a bike at what appears to be the lower end of what they stock but still received a ton of attention.

Another thumbs up~!. Cyclepath is a shop I have been going to for several years. why? because they have great customer service. they have always been friendly and un-pretentious. their mechanical skills surpass those of any other shop I have been to. They take the time to be VERY thorough with my bikes and treat em as if they were their own. They listen to my concerns and have never talked down to me. I have seen this same friendly interaction with all the other customers while I have been in the shop. It just goes to show that people who have had negative experiences are usually those that post comments, so that is why I decided to post a review.

I feel I know the guys pretty well, and while its never good biz practice to exchange negative words with a prospective customer I know they are not stuck-up or un-friendly. We've all had to deal with demanding customers that tread on our good nature at some point. Im placing my bet on this scenario.
