Give this place a miss. The menu was right the people and location were great. The food was poor and not hot, portions were small and my daughters pasta chicken was cover in grease and the balsamic covering tasted nothing like balsamic. The only thing they brought to the table was the great bread; however there was only one pepper mill and one balsamic bottle that the staff were always looking for. Give this place a miss

Skip if you can. Had never been to Macaroni Grill in any state but have always heard good things so we decided to try it. I was picking up dinner to take home the other night and there were so many problems. First of all, the food was not good, it was not hot, the kid's pizza was stuffed in a round aluminum container so it was soggy and wet when we got home, they didn't include the drinks for either kids meal and the food was just bland. The portions were not great either and for 4 meals they gave us a small piece of bread! How cheap!

The bartender checked the bag before we left but I guess it didn't matter we didn't have our drinks. I don't like Olive Garden but for the value I was choose that over Macaroni Grill. Plus for take out they don't have any curbside parking or offer to bring it to your car. They told me to park in front and just run in, I did that and ALMOST GOT A TICKET. Thanks a lot. Fortunately I had a nice meter reader that warned me!

So skip this if you can, the only reason I am not using stronger words is because we had a gift card and didn't pay full price for the meal, although I'd sure like to take back the tip I left....

great food and place. Last weekend, I went to eat lunch here with four of my friends. This restaurant has a nice decoration with nice light but it is a little crowded. Also, they have a lot of meals, and I ate a very good lunch and my friends, did too. In fact, the meal that I ate was pasta. I created my own meal with Penne pasta with Alfredo sauce, and I chose some vegetables that I like in the pasta. Also I asked the waiter to add more mozzarella cheese and I chose garden salad with ranch. The service was good and they are not too slow. The waiter bought the salad first and we ate our salad until they finished cooking our meals. When the waiter bought our pasta I had already finished my salad. It was very good salad. Also, my pasta was very good. It was greasy, juicy, and flavorful. My friends and I enjoyed our lunch. It was a great lunch in a great restaurant. My friends and I like Macaroni Grill because it has great service, good food, and a nice atmosphere. Also, it is not too far, and it is no too expensive. It is a reasonable restaurant for me. I like this restaurant and I like its food, so I suggest that every one to eats there.

Italian food. Macaroni Grill Restaurant My family and I went to this restaurant last weekend. It has a good location in downtown Portland near the Max, bus and markets. This restaurant serves Italian food. It has many Kinds of pizza and pasta. When we went to it I was very hungry, but I had to wait a long time. I think that the service is very slow, but the waiter was friendly. The waiter helped me with my order. I choose a steak with potato and my wife chose pasta and two kind of pizza for my daughters. In fact I didn’t like all the food and my wife didn’t either because it was too greasy, juicy and rich. I think this restaurant is overpriced. When we went I didn’t see many people inside. I think if you see many people in any restaurant, maybe that gives us the message the restaurant has good food. That is my opinion about Macaroni Grill restaurant, but if some people like greasy food they should go to Macaroni Grill restaurant. Also I don’t have a lot of experience or information about Italian food.

Great restaurant. In the last Sunday, my family and I ate our dinner in a great restaurant called Macaroni Grill. It is an Italian restaurant. It has many kinds of Italian food. In my opinion it is a good restaurant because of many reasons. First of all, its location is in downtown and there are many bus stops near it. Then, the service is very fast and excellent. Also, the atmosphere is fancy. It is very organized and modern. The lighting is very dim. There is a nice music. The priced is reasonable not too expensive. Our order was three different kinds of dishes. One of them it is called Chicken Parmigiana. It was juicy and flavorful. The second one it is called Fettuccine Alfredo. It is kind of pasta. It was also rich and flavorful. The last one it is called Shrimp Portofino, which was fresh and delicious. I think you should go to eat in this restaurant.
