Not another place like it.

by missdena

This store became my local clothing store for my son when we moved into the neighborhood. Not only are the staff knowledgeable and friendly...but they remember you AND your child. It is obvious they understand that if one is shopping in a resale store, it is because they can't necessarily afford a $40 pair of pants for their kid. I have found Imp and Elves, Egg, Tea, and Appaman there regularly, for $6.99 resale usually. My son has fun there and I have fun there. They have an area for him to play and welcome his bursts of energy. I sell his old clothes and have been using credit ever since. I love this store. I don't go anywhere else.

  • Pros: Can dress your child like they come from a rich family
  • Cons: Can seriously think of none.

Great overstock from Posh Baby, BabySoy, Eleven, etc

by LeighV

I have become quite the regular at Bella Stella's after driving by and seeing the cutest darn clothes in the window. I frequently bring in the 'hand-me-downs' and they don't always take things that I thought were a sure deal so I try again with another employee and/or then move on to another resale shop. The fact that they are picky makes the shopping experience all the better. Their resale clothes are of good quality and not your every day Carters, etc.

Bella Stella's is always my first stop. They have a great selection of new and used clothes and shoes, yes, NEW shoes at discount prices! I love the overstock from Posh Baby and the Baby Soy clothes line. My new favorite is Speesees, the cotton is soooo soft.

Though I bought my Ergo before I knew Bella Stella existed I have gone in to have them help me adjust it for a better fit. And sometimes they just look at me know I need an adjustment! The employees are friendly and I seem to always strike up good conversation with the other parents in the store.

My only minor complaint is the parking. Broadway is quite busy so I try to park on a side street:O(

Oh, I'm loving the new big kid resale, too, now that my 'little' girl is growing up!

  • Pros: Knowledgeable staff re: baby carriers, slings
  • Cons: parking

pleased newcomer

by Larport

I stumbled on this little gem yesterday when I was shopping for my twin nephew/neice's birthday. I don't know how common this is for children's clothing stores these days, but the place has everything. I left with cool stuff and spent much less than I thought I had to. Just giving a heads up if anyone is looking for a good place for kids clothes.

  • Pros: cool stuff
  • Cons: none
