Pretty cool. This place is good to go if you need something to dress up. I went to an art show here once that was pretty chill. The dude who ran it seemed pretty cool. It's a little expensive for my tastes, but they did have some pretty nice stuff. Maybe if I get a new job I'll look them up again.

I always get compliments on what I wear if it comes from Local 35.. Although sometimes I never get a welcome greeting, I enjoy coming to Local 35 when I want to find something unique to wear or a nice pair of Nudie jeans. Unique not as in eclectic, but unique as in a mixture of simple, sophisticated, and fun clothing. Brands like BoxFresh, ALife, Nudie, Yoko Deveraux, and Umbro are among my favorite brands. I absolutely love the sales, and out of all the boutiques I have shopped at in Portland, Local 35 is generous when it comes to their sales. I always get updated on upcoming events, and I enjoy saving extra money simply because I read an email they sent to me. One time, I received 80% off a pair of shoes because of this! If Local 35 started selling G Star, it would become my favorite boutique in Oregon!

Editorial Review by Citysearch Editors. Casual boutique sells small labels of women's and men's apparel by independent artists and designers; bi-monthly art shows.

Some Great Stuff.... I've been here only couple of times, and they have some awesome stuff, unfortunately I cannot justify spending that much.

Overdue praise. I love the clothes you find here. It's great to see new, fresh styles coming into Portland, especially for guys clothes. What's more, I love supporting a local business that's deserving of recognition. Keep it coming!

Cool But Spendy. They do have some unique clothing but you have to be willing to spend the money for it becuase some of it is quite pricey.

User review by whitedog617. In a world full of bland Mens clothing I never have a problem finding a handful,or two,of pieces i want to take home. The T-shirts alone are worth a stop.

Feel good shopping. local 35 adds a distinctive flavor and vibe to the portland scene with it's totally unique seclection of clothing and outstanding service. My husband and I stopped in here randomly a year ago and haven't missed a weekend visit since. Don't come here if you want your same run of the mill items you find at a department store-come here if you're looking for something unique and with great design. But the biggest reason to shop here is the service-we like to shop where we know its appreciated and you definitely feel appreciated at Local 35. Justin, the owner, is great and always makes you feel completely welcome (unlike a certain shoe store down the street). If you can only hit one place in Portland, hit Local 35....(and the monthly thursday night art events are not to be missed!)
