Pastini Pastarias are Oregon's homegrown Italian bistros with a passion for pasta. Our reverence for the splendid noodle inspired us to create over 30 classic and contemporary pasta dishes using fresh, local ingredients in the tradition of the neighborhood bistros of Italy. Pastini truly has something for every pasta aficionado. Complementing our pastas are authentic antipasti, crisp salads, rustic sandwiches, and handcrafted desserts. Our well-priced wine list includes bottles from both stellar Oregon wineries and small, family-owned vineyards in Italy. Or you can sip a Pastini Italian Cocktail or quaff a local microbrew. Inconsistent. We had eaten here before and thought the service was adequate and the food pretty good. Last night we returned to find the host disinterested and the wait staff even worse. We asked for a booth and were told there were none available. Not 2 minutes after we were seated at a noisy table by the door 2 booths were vacated. You would think the host person would at least offer to move us but she was too busy chatting with other employees. We were forced to be proactive in our interests. No need to worry about getting fat off the food in this place as the portions are minuscule. After our tiny portions were served we asked for ground pepper -- the wait person walked around the restaurant at least 3 times to other tables or employees before seeing to our request. Consistent good service and food are essential to a good reputation. This place has neither. View Less … View More
Butternut Squash Ravioli in Sage Brown Butter.....Yummm. Went with a few friends and had the Butternut Squash Ravioli, it is especially great for this time of year and I crave it. My friends thought is sounded so good that they ordered it too, didn't just want a bite of mine. We shared a bottle of the wine of the month, a great deal and very nice. My friends did consent to share a Bistro salad and they were impressed with all of the flavors, from the Pancetta to the Gorgonzola Herb dressing. The fresh bread is warm and just the right compliment to each dish. We had the Chocolate Tartuffo and the Tiramisu for dessert along with some of their great coffee. Lots of laughs, great conversation and a wonderful place to have a meal! View Less … View More
Great Food - Vegetarian Friendly.
I recently went to Pastini and was really pleased to see a diverse menu with lots of vegetarian options. They have at least 10 different
vegetarian entrees (all well under $10) that offer an amazing variety of choices. Not only do they serve spaghetti, but also zucchini, fettuccine, capellini, polenta, macaroni and cheese. and several other dishes. I ordered their Vegetarian Ziti that was incredibly delicious. The portion was generous and included zucchini, squash, fresh tomatoes, pesto, fresh herbs, and bread... all for $7.95. A really good meal for a great price!
The atmosphere was very clean, relaxing and spacious. The staff was really friendly and attentive to their guests. I would highly recommend Pastini to anyone who loves great Italian food.

Fab Neighborhood Restaurant.
Waitstaff was nice and very accomodating to our group - we couldn't decide and they were very helpful in suggestions! They knew their menu
inside and out.
Was impressed with the inexpensive prices and our group of five enjoyed our suggested selections by the waitstaff. Thanks for helping us out!

Olive lovers enjoy.
At least once per month I stop by Pastini on Division for lunch. The food is good and filling, especially when you're craving a substantial
meal.
I love olives and usually get the assortment appetizer. For $3.50 you cannot go wrong. The quality is much better than the olive bars at Zupans (expensive) and Safeway's feeble attempt to upscale.
Last week I had the vegetarian pasta for the first time, which has olives of course. The weather was too hot for alfredo or gorganzola. I enjoyed the squash, pesto flavor and sundried tomatoes.
If you're in southeast Portland, it's a nice place for casual business lunch.
