Fantastic!. Though the food, gelato, and fudge are all good, what really keeps me coming back is the service-- particularly the guy they have working there usually in the afternoon. I think his name is Chris, and he is oh so HOT! He has gorgeous brown eyes and luscious lips. Be sure to compliment how hot he is...when I do, I usually get a discount!

Best in town!. They simply have the best gelato- true to what it is. Revolving flavors that fit all taste buds, plus they have dog treats and knitting!

Nice place to spend a summer afernoon. Its a nice place to go for coffee or gelato on a summer afternoon! The service is good and the prices are low. The only downside - the people that live in the neighborhood are obnoxious. I couldn't find a place to sit that wasn't in ear shot of a conversation about financial issues or the details of childbirth. Yuk.

Didn't grab me. So many shops advertise gelato but what they are really selling is ice cream at a higher price. I was disappointed to experience this at Parisi's. Gelato snobs - look elsewhere, unless you are in the mood for ice cream.

Great customer service. I love the owner of this coffee shop... he's friendly, talkative, and generally pleasant and helpful. I've tasted fudge on his urging, and once he even made up a latte drink for me on the spot because I was in the mood for pumpkin and it wasn't on the menu. Needless to say, his drink experimentation was a tasty success and I left happy. The service is fantastic, friendly, and all the employees upbeat.

Furthermore, I love the red booths--it moves away from the typical coffee shop decor and has its very own unique style. It's nice to see someone doing something different. In a town with so many coffee shops, I like finding the ones a little bit different...

a daycare center. I've been to parisi's a few times this year and have to say the only reason I go back is because its NOT starbucks.Always filled with screaming babies and pregnant ladies in sweatpants. Man at counter was over zealous and pushy making me and my wife feel uncomfortable and nervous to decide on our selection; gelato that tasted more like corn syrup than ice cream.I also agree with previous comment that it has a 'sterile' feel (overlit and too bright, like a romper room with a sugar high). Not sure what they are going for in decor. if they were to give this place more of an italian cafe feel( dim the lights, expand the menu and serve some booze, maybe some wood instead of vinyl) id hang out there and say, "welcome to the neighboorhood....finally."

Great Gelato, Odd Decor. I love all of the changing flavors at Parisi's, though I think it can be a little on the spendy side. The service is prompt and friendly, the decor is 50s diner style, which I don't think fits the neighborhood very well.

great coffee. Umbria (sp?) is the best coffee I've had, just a notch above Illy. Gelato, fudge and service are excellent. I'm not too crazy about the seating, as it has a sterile feel to it, rather than warm and fuzzy. However, if they're going for the retro diner look, then good job. Owner seems like he takes much pride in his business, unlike the guy who operates the Java Man down the street.

Yum!. When I was pregnant, all I wanted in the world was Parisi's peppermint gelato. The paninis are also very good. I love the play area for kids! Thanks for coming to the neighborhood.

Special neighborhood treat. Having Parisi's in the neighborhood validates every decision we have made in life. We love the charm and care brought into this friendly 'retro soda shop' place. The sweets are well crafted and delivered by friendly staff. Fellow patrons share that knowing smile and glint in the eye as we pass each other holding our gelato or fudge treats--a look that acknowledges how lucky we are to have this place. Then there are the panini...which offer savory, tasty combinations in sufficient lunch portions--gotta leave some room for dessert! Yummm...creative and changing gelato flavors and none-too-sweet fudge is just a walk to the corner.
