Tasty!. Great Thai food and very courteous servers. I like that this seems to be a family-run place. It does not have too many bells and whistles but if good food is what you're after, then this could be a good bet!

Amazing food!. I LOVE the food at Peemkaew. It's always absolutely delicious and I have to admit - this is becoming my favorite restaurant. My favs: Yellow curry chicken and Spicy Asparagus with chicken.

Delicious Thai Cuisine!. Don't miss out on the best food of your life! I was walking through the pearl district and came across this small Thai restaurant and decided to check it out. I ordered Pad Thai and fried spring rolls and was not disappointed. Not only was the food good, but I loved the colorful atmosphere!

Great good, great prices!. This is the best Thai food I have ever eaten in my life. Thai food is my absolute favorite so I have tried many restaurants and this is the BEST. I don't find myself going to any other Thai restaurants anymore. The prices are also very good for a poor college student like myself.

Bad service, so-so food. I went there with a groupon one night and got some stuff to go. First of all they do not acknowledge you when you come in and then you just stand there not knowing if you should annoy them by asking because they seemed so busy or just wait and hope they will notice you.

Food is average Thai-Chinese fare.

Bad service=bad food. Food was average to good, but we had a bad experience. We came in 30 minutes before closing time and they made it very clear we were UNWELCOME. At the end of our meal, I asked for more hot water for tea, but they didn't bring it, even though I asked again; they obviously wanted us gone.

At one point I was afraid they were going to kick us out, even though it was only 10 min. past closing time.

Don't go here and support this restaurant, because they did not care about us, the valued customer, and they won't care about you either.

Poor Customer Services. My family were dining at this place yesterday. They suddenly turned off the lights. It became so dim that we couldn't see what's in the dishes. I mentioned this to the waitress - she did not care to help at all and showed very bad attitude. She refused to turn the lights on or to fix the broken pendant light near our table.

Overall it was a very disappointing dining experience.

Best Food in Town. This restaurant is the best I have ever been to. The atmosphere is nice and cool. The wait staff is very friendly and help full and of course the food is the best you will ever have. If you want true authentic thai food, this is the place to go. You can get the best of ever category of thai food. Whether you want noodles, curry, fried rice, stir fry, soup or salad you can find the best at PeemKaew.

VERY AUTHENTIC THAI FOOD. This is the best Thai food in Portland. . . just wish that it were located in Lake Oswego because I'd go there everyday. The Pad Thai is amazing; the fried rice with pineapple and cashews my favorite. Peanut sauce is to die for. The Pumpkin Curry is very tasty but a little spicy for my palate. I actually sent it back and the kitchen made it perfect. Staff is Asian and friendly; the prices are very competitive and I eat here regularly.

I know they do catering and deliver to the immediate area (sigh...a great benefit to Pearl residents).

Would not recommend!. My husband and I went to Peemkaew for dinner tonight. It was a Sunday evening at 5:30 and there was only one other couple in the restaurant. We were not greeted and seated ourselves. The waiter came by, he didn't say a word and left 2 menus on our table. After 15 minutes a waitress came by and took our order, she didn't say much either. We ordered the Pad Thai, Massaman Curry and Pumpkin Curry. The Pad Thai was good, the potatoes in the Massaman Curry were not fully cooked and still crunchy. It was also very bland as was the Pumpkin Curry. No one ever came back to ask how our meal was or if we needed anything. We had purchased a Groupon to try this restaurant. I would think on a Sunday evening in a restaurant that is slow that you would at least get decent service. It felt like they could care less if there were customers in their restaurant. Definitely will never come back!
