Excellent experience. This is one of the best secret places on Fremont. Quinn and Katherine know their trade exceptionally well and can point you in the right direction when it comes time for a great cup of tea. The location is open yet cozy and just feels good to be in.
Beaumont Village tea cafe offers a variety of drinks and small meals in a stylish and relaxing atmosphere..
In Short
From its rough-hewn wooden sign outside to the coolly chic interior, this tea shop strikes a balance between high class and homey. Light-blue walls are decorated with an all-white mural. Students and young professionals chat or work on laptops while sitting in the comfy upholstered chairs and dark-wood tables arranged around the central fireplace. Visitors enjoy black, white, green, herbal and oolong teas, plus coffee, beer, wine, scones, sandwiches and desserts.
Ruby Tuesday.
Not only is this the best kept secret in Portland but on Wednesdays they have a psychic in house, sipping tea and waiting to talk to you. Fox Fire has amazing food, great tea, Stumptown coffe and great beer and wine.
come see for yourself why this place is Portland's best kept secret.
sweet spot on a rainy day. I love this new addition to Beaumont Village. It's especially nice to visit on a drizzly day and sit by the fire with a pot of tea. I especially enjoy the smelling station, where I can smell each of the teas as I read about them on the menu. The owners are very nice, and extremely knowledgable about each of the teas (there must be at least 50 kinds - maybe more). Now that it's getting warm, I'm starting to experiment with having my favorite teas iced instead of hot. There's a nice little courtyard to sit in as well.
Simply a must visit!. We are currently looking for a house in the much talked about Wilshire-Beaumont neighborhood. We were strolling down Fremont when we discovered the place that will make it hard for us to NOT to buy in this neighborhood. What an awesome place! I can't say enough about it. This is something we might have found in Victoria BC, or abroad. In Portland......what a great city! Thank you Foxfire.
Can't wait to go back!. My visit to Foxfire teas was excellent! The atmosphere was very welcoming - the fireplace was perfect for a rainy day. The service was great, and the scones were so yummy!! Can't wait for summer when they can have the garage doors open! Looking forward to my next visit!
Great Tea!. I have had over fifteen different types of tea during my many visits to Foxfire Teas and each one has been distinctive and full of flavor leaving you with a reason to come back over and over (oh and the teas are mostly organic!). Plus they have scrumptous scones, tasty treats, and yummy sandwiches. The atmosphere has something for everyone- swingback chairs to kick back and enjoy your tea in, a kid area to draw a picture with chalk, a warm fireplace to warm yourself in the winter, and a great patio to cool off in the summer. Foxfire Teas is definitely a place to visit over and over!
Friendly Folks @ Foxfire Teas. The atmosphere and ambience is relaxed and quite refreshing. Sitting by the fire reading a book, I felt as though I was at the cabin by the lake on a Rainy Saturday afternoon. The warm inviting atmoshphere will keep me coming back again and again. I can't wait to take advantage of the courtyard when the sun finally shines! Foxfire teas is everything corperate coffeeshops wish they could be.
Awesome scones!. Foxfire Teas combines hip design with great tea, scones and I love the new sandwiches (especially the fresh mozzarella). I either pull up a stool in front of the fireplace (if I have my laptop--free wifi), or tuck into a wingback by the window (if I'm reading). Iron Goddess Oolong ROCKS!
