Best part of our weekend. Miriam & Elizabeth provided perfect massages for me & my husband. The room was cozy, warm & comforting - the street sounds magically disappeared during our session. The heated bed & hot stones were delightful but their skills were remarkable. They were very attentive to the places we discussed beforehand - each of us had a slightly different experience based on our needs. Their building is just a few blocks from the streetcar route, and very near great shops & restaurants.

Amazing!. I've just returned from my first massage with Miriam at the Healing Tree Massage. The massage was so relaxing that I'm surprised that I can raise my fingers to type. Miriam is a gifted therapist and has created a beautiful, warm and comforting environment for her practice. She takes care to heated massage bed, hot stones (I think) to warm her hands during the massage and a hot towel wrap for the head and face.

This was a Christmas present from my boyfriend. I've already gushed to him about this being the "best present ever"!

User review by marya. A friend of mine and I were looking for a "girls night out" and we wanted to get a massage and go out for dinner. I was going through IVF and I hoped the healing effect of massage might help. I loved how Miriam was available at the last minute, and in the evening, AND to massage two people! She can usually have another therapist there, for couples, but so spontaneously her other person wasn't available that night. She did a wonderful job all by herself though, much to my surprise. At one point we discovered she was holding onto a bar - attached to the ceiling I guess - and walking on our backs! It was great! She also seemed quite knowledgeable and insightful about healing (also did some reflexology), and concentrated on my getting pregnant. I DID get pregnant! :-)

AMAZING!. I can't find the words when I try to describe this wonderful place...my boyfriend and I went there on our first weekend of our 21 day cleansing diet...so we were tense, fatigued and ready to relax. We did the 90 minute massage and couldn't believe how we felt afterwards. Miriam and her associate knew exactly what we wanted and only had to ask a few questions....rather they responded to what they felt in our bodies. They used hot stones, wicked massage techniques and hot towels wraps. I would highly recommend this lil' retreat on 23rd.

Extraordinary Massage. Miriam has been featured in SPA magazine, and now I know why. Her massage is the best. Her hands are magnificient. I have had a couples massage, which I highly recommend. A lot of couples massages are a waste of money, but hers is terrific! Highly, highly recommend.

Wonderful!. I started seeing Miriam after I was rear ended in an auto accident... previously I had been seeing a chiropractor for 5 months without much relief. A friend recommended Miriam and Healing Tree Massage... after 2 sessions with her my pain was completely gone! She is an amazing healer... and has such a wonderful way about her. My pain is gone, so now when I see her (at least 1-2 times a month) I really enjoy just being pampered....hot stones, salt scrubs, hot towel wraps, mini facials... everything she does is truly amazing. I feel like a queen! Oh and the Ashiatsu bar therapy is really excellent too....very relaxing.

Miriam is a talented Goddess. Miriam is amazing. There are few people who are gifted in a way such as Miriam. She floats through the room, is so knowledgable and I believe has the kindest hands anywhere. Whenever she works on me I feel like I am going to have a brand new life when I leave. She is amazing!

A truly healing experience. The wonderful things said in the other reviews are true - Healing Tree Massage is a one-of-a-kind treat. I feel blessed to have discovered this Portland jewel. I felt comfortable and honored as Miriam fearlessly dove into the most stressed, unbalanced parts of my body. I enjoyed every moment of it, and left feeling more myself then I have in months!

Will follow her.... I followed Miriam from a well-known spa to her independently owned office on 23rd. She's fabulous. She combines the spa qualities that I love with the ability to fix whatever's wrong with my body. I love her! I will stay with her as long as I'm in Portland and would return just to see her if I moved away. She is the most knows more about what she does than anyonw I've ever been to before. Also, the parking was really easy to find. Try her. You'll love her too.

A Truly Fantastic Massage!. iriam does a wonderful job of making me feel comfortable and oh-so-relaxed each and every time I visit. She is caring, attentive and very skilled at massage and relaxation. Plus, shes a truly caring person whose company I enjoy immensely.
