great place to shop with girlfriends. I wandered in one evening on a delicious waft of ginger citrus fragrance to behold a magical looking store (while a delicate song of summertime longing played pitch perfect in the background), fun to browse...cute clothing and lots of little objects of desire...and the sales girls were so sweet. Just fabulous! I will go back.

Bad Experience. I was prepared to really love this store. It was nice, the smell was heavenly, I'd heard great things about it. However, the clothes not as well made as I had expected. The quality reminded me of stuff made in India and sold at folksy sort of clothing shops in college towns across the country--but sold at three times the markup at Anthropologie.

I would have left feeling okay about the store, even though the prices were ski high and even the sale section left me going meh, but when I was leaving the woman in front of me carrying a store shopping bag set off the alarm. I pointed this out to the sales girl, but she ignored this and started going through my purse. The other lady skidaddled and, of course, I hadn't stolen anything, but it did bother me that this happened in front of my 8-year old daughter. When she didn't find anything, the sales girl looked embarrassed and I pointed out (again) that the lady in front of me had set off the alarm and that she should have rechecked her purchases and made sure they had been properly demagnetized or whatever, because she could be setting of alarms everywhere she goes. The sales clerk dashed away with a guilty look. I realized later that I'd never had my purse taken and searched before in any store I'd ever been in. Normally, they check the store shopping bags of those who had recently purchased things first. It seemed odd and I was left with the feeling I'd been harassed in some way. I'd have to say the other shopper's behavior was odd. If I'd set off alarms while leaving I would want them to re-check my purchases.

I'd have to say the experience destroyed anything "magical" I felt about the carefully constructed atmosphere of the store. I also think that if they priced their things more fairly they wouldn't have to regard their customers so suspiciously.

great clothes...questionable staff. I love the clothing at this store but the staff sometimes is questionable to say the least. They often seem too busy to offer good customer service.

Pretty clothes, scary prices. Like any other Anthropologie, this store is expensive but highly appealing to browse. The entire store is like an piece of art in and of itself. Overpriced regular items are a deterrent but the sale section usually has a few finds if you like to dig.
