Bad Experience. I recently treated my mom to a day at the Bliss Day Spa. She has recovered from breast cancer these past few years and is now 100% cancer free! She has done so much for our family that it is time that she celebrates her self and takes time to do things to make her self feel good about her. She has been really interested in checking into some skin care options that will help with the associations that come along with older age. I chose this Spa, because it is connected to Bella Derma. All the services she received from Bliss were wonderful and she was very much pleased. However, her experience with the individual from Bella Derma was not a good experience. It was recommended that she do a consultation before receiving services from Bella Derma. The consultation was to include a test on her face to check her tolerance level. I spent the first few minutes with my mom as she did her consultation. I got the impression that the consultant was very snooty. When I left my mom to go about her consultation and spa services...I hoped that it would go better for her, but later found out that the consultant spent only about 5 more minutes with her and was indeed unpleasant. She asked my mom where she lived and when she found out that she lived in Hood River (about 1.5 hour drive from the spa) the consultant mentioned that my mom probably wouldn't want to drive to the spa for regular treatments. She left my mom to get her a price sheet, but never came back and my mom never got a price sheet. She waited in the room for the duration of her 30 min. appt and until her next appt. began. I was disappointed that she was treated this way and that the consult would assume that she wouldn't drive to Portland for treatments. There are not very many options for these types of services in Hood River and my mom drives to Portland on a frequent basis. I am happy to say that there are several other clinics that she will be able to get the services from and it won't be Bella Derma.

Wonderful!. I love the fact that Bella Derma is located in a salon-- it seems so much less clinical. It has a great soothing atmosphere and obviously the Dr. knows what he is doing. I've been getting botox for awhile and he spent more time planning out the attck on wrinkles than anyone else has. And the results really show. He is also very friendly and approachable-- Highly recommended!

Amazing results. I have had moderate acne scars to my face for most of my adult life causing substantial embarrassment and low self esteem. At the encouragement of a good friend, I tried the photofacial with the WR and have never been more happy with my skin. My scarring has smoothed out substantially, my skin is tighter, and I actually like what I see when I look in the mirror now. I have tried so many products, cover ups, creams, lotions, and potions with little or no success. The photo facial with WR is AMAZING!! I even feel good without makeup! The staff is fabulous, always accomodating, and celebrates my "new skin" right along with me! Definately recommend this treatment for anyone who wants a beautiful complexion....

Glowing skin!!!. I recently purchased a skin renewal package at Bella-Derma called the "PhotoFacial". It is a laser treatment to help rid your skin of sun damage, ruddiness, large pores etc. I have completed only 3 treatments and my skin has never looked better!! I have even eliminated foundation from my makeup bag. Another nice thing, no pressure to buy. I was encouraged to research this treatment and feel good about making a decision to go forward. The parking is not great, but it is a fair tradeoff for a great service.

Compared to Previous Experience. I purchased a hair removal package for my back. I did this once before in 2004 at another clinic and I just wasn't happy with the result. Here, the pain level was better addressed, the equipment was substantially more effective, and the doctor was available to the staff (I met the guy and he was really hands on, making sure the staff was tailoring the treatment to my particular issue). Their hair removal guarantee made me feel like they were more interested in my satisfaction than a fast buck.

The best spa experience EVER!!. I have been to many spas in Portland and Seattle areas and this one is the best. I will admit that I am a very tough customer and had extremely high expectations the first time I went for a treatment. Every expectation was met. The staff is unbelievable. I have had a few different treatments done by a couple different people, and each one of them has been accomodating, extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. Just knowing that a doctor AND nurse own and operate this spa is very reassuring.

best ever!. This is hands down the best laser treatment in the city. I've been to a few, and checked out the rest, and bella derma has the friendliest staff, the nicest facilities and the most qualified

doctors out there. I'll be back for sure.
