Eyebrow threading!
by hellochelsea
I was told that the best place to get your eyebrows done in Portland was at Blush and it is so true! Suha threaded my eyebrows (I had never had it done before) and completely transformed my face. My eyes looked bigger and I looked more put together; I've never had such amazing results with eyebrow hair removal. When she let me look in the mirror and saw that I was ecstatic she said "that is why I keep doing this job. when people stop reacting this way I will quit."
The best $25 I've ever spent on beauty, hands down. Book an appointment, you won't be disappointed!
- Pros: quick, professional, LOOKS AMAZING
Threading!
by withlovek
I moved to Portland about 6 months ago and couldn't find a salon that offered threading (except some place about 50 miles away) so I was only left with waxing options. After an awful eyebrow wax experience that left my brows way thinner than I'd like them I finally found Suha a month later at Blush and couldn't be happier. She really knows what she's doing! And as far as other reviews go, I did not have any problems with the staff. They were all nice and answered any questions that I had. Thank you Suha and Blush.
- Pros: Suha is wonderful!
- Cons: None, well it's kind of painful but that's to be expected.
Bad service
by lshimai
I went in looking for some help in picking out a good powder and blush. I waited maybe 10 minutes and no one offered to help me. Then I finally asked someone if they could help and they still took a few more minutes to come over and assist me. The lady showed me some products and picked out colors, but I kept saying I wanted something different and she insisted that the colors she was choosing were the best for my skin tone. They weren't and I was dissatisfied. I didn't feel very respected, and felt like I was talked down to. It seemed like a very silly and artificial atmosphere. I ended up with a product I don't like and can't return because they don't actually have a return policy. They only let you exchange items, and that's only if you haven't even used them. Not the best makeup store!
- Pros: They have makeup
- Cons: Overpriced, not helpful service!
