I had my brows threaded by Suha after a friend had been getting it done there for about a year. I normally pluck and have gone to get a wax once. I've always been afraid of creepy, thin eyebrows. But, the feeling wasn't too bad. It was actually kind of relaxing. And, she said to grow my brows in more to get the arches to match. I just grew my bangs out and wear them straight across while my brows are filling in. I'm having so much fun with the transformation. Thanks Suha for showing me that brows can change your look. It's like natures makeup. ..Also, I've been in to buy makeup after I went into Dosha and was bombarded by sales help. At Blush they weren't pushy at all.
Pros: Nars lipstick, Eyebrow threading
Cons: the brow threading was done in the corner of the retail floor

I went to Blush to try out the mineral powder foundation, and was really pleased at the selection. They seem to stock items that they have confidence in. I ended up buying some of their skin care line as well, and I was impressed that they didn't try to push all the products on me-- the salesperson even recommended a product they didn't carry that would be more appropriate for me. The only negative I would say is that the full facial was a bit of a rip off. It's basically just an application of their skin care line, apparently with a more intense version of the exfoliant. They talked it up a lot, but the results didn't live up to the hype. Also, the fact that they charge for makeup applications makes it confusing to know when you're crossing the line between asking someone to help you try out a product, and asking for a makeup application. If you go to Nordstroms you can sort of take it for granted that they're happy to put makeup on you because you're more likely to buy the product. I'll definitely go back to get refills, but I'll probably go somewhere else to get colors. At these prices I really think they should be going the extra mile to help you choose the right colors and products, and yes, they should teach you how to apply the makeup for free.
Pros: Clean, quality products, good customer service
Cons: They charge for services normally provided for free
