Americas Tire

Last Mat 24th 2011 I paid cash for 4 tires. At the time I wasn't told that the wider tires in the rear were out of stock and were back ordered. I was told "Next month....next month" so many times I lost count. Today February 23rd.....I go in to tell them I've had enoungh. I want a refund of approx. $800.00....2 tires that I never saw. They canceled the two rear tire order today. Instead of a refund.....I'm given a CREDIT!!!!!!!!!! I paid cash...I want a refund check. DO NOT GO TO AMERICAN TIRE!!!!!!…

Never more..... Service is fast, no doubt about that. But I got a quote over the phone, they asked me for a specific price. I drive all the way there. (I live 40 min away from the Beaverton store) and they come up with a totally different price, trying to push a whole bunch of "features" I did not wanted or need it. Over the phone they said that quote was for Michelin tires (that at the time was offering $60.00 mail rebate for ANY 4 Michelin tires) Service is done, I ask for my rebate paperwork and I hear the BS: "Well, those are Michelin tires, but they are not Michelin tires, they are manufactured by Michelin, but they are not Michelin, so you are not eligible for rebate" The BS of the YEAR. I gave up going to Les Schwab (across the street from my house) that offered me 50 dollars less for their own brand tire, because they were offering Michelin for a good price and plus I'm aware of the rebate (via their website) and I get there and it's a COMPLETE FALSE ADD. Next time, I'm back to LES SCHWAB, at least they are honest with their customers!!!!…

They treat my Corvette with respect. I have used Discount Tires for the last two sets of tires I purchased. And I will again Work was done quicliky and well. They treat my Corvette with respect, using only floor jscks and are very careful with my polished rims.…
