Guys, I gotta tell you this is THE hotel to take the ladies to. Period. You walk in - big romantic pictures on the wall. SCORE. Bar in the lobby. SCORE. The room was spotless, the interiors were period and romantic. 100% quality service. The best hotel I've stayed at lately. Bar none.

My husband and I live in PDX and were looking for a local hotel for a weekend stay that had something special. We also knew that we wanted to spend more time "in" than "out'. Hotel deLuxe has that "something special". It honors Hollywood's golden era with lovely decor. The room was excellent with attention to detail in its setup and appointment. The staff made us feel very welcome. We ate at the restaurant which was good (not knock-your-socks-off quality but good) and enjoyed the bar (smaller, cozy) and tried a few of the special themed drinks (i.e.: "The Elizabeth Taylor") which were great. I definitely would go back and also would recommend it to others who want something special that boutique hotels offer.
