I went to this shoe store yesterday & I
got my perfect pair of Birkenstocks. The staff was excellent, helpful and friendly. They took the time to size me for the correct fit and explained to me in detail how the soft shoe bed works.
My family and I have found a great shoe store for life!!!
Wonderful Staff and Selection.
I've been visiting this store for many years now, and have always found the staff to be incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable. Honestly, I probably have more Birks repaired there than I buy (I tend to wear them out. The longest pair I owned was 16 years: a pair of London's). The last time I bought a pair there, the person helping me took a great deal of time helping me try on different sizes and styles. I never feel pressured to purchase when I visit this shop. A++ vendor in every way. I just wish I had more money for shoes, there are so many nice styles!
Excellent Products & Knowledgeable Service.
I have been to Signature Shoes on multiple occasions and received nothing but the most friendly knowledgeable service and great products. I am a restaurant manager and spend at least 10 hours solid on my feet daily. Every morning I would wake up with extreme pain in my feet and could barely walk.
I went to multiple stores, including large department stores, and went through at least 13 pairs before going to Signature Shoes.
They offered the right product for me and didn't try to push any additional products on me. I purchased one pair and had such success went back to get 4 more pairs. Since then I have gone back for my kids and husband.
I am shocked at the negative comment and therefore am compelled to write this review ( I mostly review restaurants) This small business would never treat its customers that way. I would be shocked that this small business wouldn't stand by its products--I either have my receipt or they have my purchases on record so I never have any issues...and the staff always tell me to call if I ever have any issues with any products.
I would definitely send my family and friends to the store. They don't just find something "cute" and try to sell it to you, rather they address your needs and find the best solution. Go there and you will not be disappointed!!!
Always smiling, very friendly.
Perhaps I'm getting my shoe stores mixed up. The Birkenstock retailer located off Beaverton-Hillsdale Hwy that I have bought many pairs of sandals from for the past year has always offered me excellent service, and I have witnessed (while shopping there) outstandingly patient service to customers whom I would have a hard time suffering for half as long as the employees did. They offered corporate service and kindness with a personable small business environment to everyone who entered their shop. Their selection is outstanding, their repair options are fast and prices are competitively low, in spite of the fact that it is such a small business. I have not had to deal with their return policy yet, but I can not imagine it would be as horrible as the prior review states. Like I said, I may be reviewing a different store than chad99, but I am certain without a doubt that the small business I visited is one of the cutest, and friendliest small businesses I've ever visited, and I will continue to buy my shoes there and recommend them as long as I live in the northwest.
My wife and I had the unfortunate experience of trying to exchange defective Birkenstocks that were under warranty that we purchased at this store.
We are good, nice people, and the level of rudeness we received from the owner and staff was amazing. They treated us like we were scam artists trying to rip them off. My wife left in tears, and I was SO angry about the way they treated us.
I will tell everybody I know, work with, and meet who asks about restaurant shoes not to shop at this store. As we are both bartenders at busy establishments and active online, hopefully this will be enough people to affect the way they treat people and hire people.
How can a business like this stay open?
We payed cash for my shoes in the last calendar year, and the store had no record of our purchase on their computer, which can only happen for one reason I figure....
