Oh No! They closed!. I am so sad to say I visited the location today only to find the store closed and the ownerns moved back to New Orleans.

The store is amazing and the owners are wonderful. This is on of those stores that many can't wait to go to when in New Orleans or Miami. I used to have to go to Calle Ocho or order online. Now, finally, there is this amazing store in our own backyard. They are so loving and welcoming and have the most wonderful smelling candles and gifts. I abolutely love it and wish them the best!

Great selection, fair prices, and outstanding customer service!. Orleans Candle Company is a wonderful little store with a variety of candles, oils, and herbs. The owners, Tanya and Jonathan, instantly give you a warm welcome when you walk in the door. Prices are very reasonable with a range of gifts for everyone's tastes. Bring the glass back after you use your candles and you'll get a discout on your next purchase as well!

I highly recommend this store for everyone.

Great Customer Service, Great Products. This is a wonderful local business. The products here are great. The owners are knowledgeable about their products and always quick to offer advice and conversation. The great thing about this store is that they offer such a variety of products.

Great Selection of Highly Scented, Beautiful Candles!!. I enjoy few things more than burning a wonderfully scented candle on a rainy Oregon day. Although I consider myself a "candle snob" as not just any will do. I prefer them to be so highly scented that you can catch a good aroma from them even when they are not lit. My old favorites were Salt City Candles, however they are now difficult to find.

I have found even better candles at this store. Made from soy, they are enviro-friendly as well and poured by hand on site.

I stopped by this wonderful little shop I've driven by so many times and was pleasantly surprised by their wonderful selection and service. Extremely friendly and I feel good supporting local businesses. They had a nice little crowd in there, I hope the word is spreading.

There is plenty of street parking...you should just be headed the "right" direction, east! Otherwise you'll be playing frogger on Lombard! This store is worth a visit.

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Very knowlegable. Worth the stop. Great items.. A Wonderful Stop for Candles and Gifts! They Provide Soy Wax that burns cleaner for the environment and they're Hand Poured Right there. New fragrances all the time. Make suggestions and they listen. Much insight about products. Assist the New Orleans LA community by purchasing and selling products here in Portland. A Great experience. Getting new things all the time. Various supplies. Excellent Customer Service!

Best Candles Ever!!!. This is one of the nicest looking storefronts on North Lombard, and the inside does not dissapoint either! They have awesome soy candles that burn clean and smell GREAT. You can bring in any jar or glass for them to fill with a candle of your choice (you have to wait a couple days), and they discount for reusing candle holders. They work closely with the community and are great people to have in the neighborhood! They also have a lot of herbs that I use to cook and make tea's with, for really low prices. Another thing that I like is that they are so knowledgeable about the products that they sell. I now go here for my gift buying and little prayer Saint statues. I will never shop for a Yankee candle again.

Great products; great people; good prices. Browsed through for the first time today and found great earrings for Christmas gifts. Beautiful, soy candles that smell great and competatively priced, too. Friendly couple.
